Near the end of the airport runway so about 100m above sea level a lovely spot, relaxation at its best. Don't worry planes only fly five days a week and normaly one a day so interesting but not noisy. The ground are well laid out, with units clean and comfortable beds. The cottages and house are on 6 hectares so...

Gosh I love this place and so glad to have returned again. It is absolutely perfect! Got to meet Wayne this trip and found him incredibly helpful. My cottage "Hannah" was a dream. Full kitchen, dinning space and lounge. Great shower and comfortable bed. Loved having the washing machine as well. I really enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking...

Stayed at Tau Gardens for two weeks recently on our family trip. I can't rate Wayne, his team or his accommodation highly enough. As a travelling group of 11 ranging from 14weeks new to nifty fifties; some couples, some singles and several little ones we are incredibly impressed and grateful with how well we were all catered for. The accommodation...

Great place, friendly staff, everything you need to relax and enjoy the Island!! Unfortunately the weather gods were not kind to us, but we had a great stay anyway. Hope to come back sometime to catch more fish, and enjoy Norfolk Islands hospitality!

We recently stayed at Tau Gardens with our family of 13 adults & 5 children. Wayne was very accomodating & helpful in sorting out enough items for all children staying, going above and beyond to help us out where needed! The accomodation was lovely and very peaceful. Will definetly be recommending it to everyone!

Our extended family group of 8 stayed at John's House and the neighbouring Moira's. We had a wonderful week and the two houses were just right for us. John's house was enormous, very comfortable and well equipped. Next door, our son, partner and baby had the small self-contained unit and Wayne organised a cot, carseat and highchair for them. We...

Our Norfolk Island experience was awesome. The surprise upgrade from Anson Bay to Tau Gardens was the icing on the cake. Tau Gardens was perfect. Just what we needed for our restful holiday. The setting was perfect - quiet and peaceful. It was lovely to wake up to the chirping of birds and the sounds of insects. The accommodation was...

Wayne was lovely to me on the phone, offering what seemed like a wonderful upgrade. We were terribly disappointed in our upgrade to Johns House from Di ill Du cottage. Yes we are a family of 4 adults and a 2 yr old, so in that respect it gave us a lot more room…….but the house is in desperate need...

Tau Gardens provided us with most comfortable accommodation for seven nights. The cottages are most spacious with privacy and a nice outlook. Wayne the Manager is most helpful. The location is convenient as only eight minutes approx drive from the Burnt Pine shops and restaurants. The airport runways are close by however with only a few flights per week during...

“All the units would be good and each one is fully self contained and stand alone with space between neighbours. No Pool but hardly matters as the Island is too cold (it is not tropical), but a spa pool would have been great.”

“Bring over heaps of "processed food" to stock up the pantry. Buy the veg and meat on the Island, this way you can cook at home if you want to, and save money. The kitchen is stocked with utensils and the cookware.”
