I stayed here overnight for a conference because all the hotels were full, as it was homecoming weekend. But I am glad they were because my stay here was so great! The couple who ran the place were really nice and were even accommodating when I showed up very late at night to check in. I stayed in a room...

I stayed in the separate apartment (towards left above garage). Hosts very friendly and accommodating, allowing my Amherst student to check me in before he picked me up late at airport. Room is well furnished with cold sparkling water and Keurig coffee and tea, Ana small microwave. Bed comfortable. Bathroom and shower spic and span. Recommended.

This small B&B is good value and provided just what we needed for the weekend: a VERY comfortable bed, a spotlessly clean bathroom, a hearty fresh breakfast, and friendly unobtrusive hosts. A mile or so from Amherst Center, it was the perfect jumping off point for the 5 college area. I would not hesitate to return.

I'm not too picky when it comes to a bed and breakfast. I just like a comfortable bed and a nice hot meal in the morning. This place was perfect. Susan was very sweet; she accommodated my fiancee's request for a gluten-free breakfast. In the peak of wedding AND leaf-peeping season, this B&B was the obvious choice over big name...

I'm so happy I decided to stay at this bed and breakfast. What a charming place that makes you feel at-home even when you're away from home! Susan and Steve are extremely friendly and wonderful owners. I happened to spill something inside my bag only the second day I was here and Susan let me use her washer--and even hung...

This was a great B&B conveniently located in the 5 college area. Owners Susan and Steve were very nice and so accommodating to our needs. They serve delicious breakfasts! Susan was also very helpful in recommending restaurants and directing us to area attractions. It was a very pleasant vacation.

The B&B is quiet and comfortable, situated a bit away from the center of Amherst but easily walkable. The room was well-appointed, internet service reliable, and breakfast ample and tasty. One or the other of the spotlessly clean bathrooms was always available. Susan and Steve were cordial and helpful. And the zebra finches in the kitchen were a delight. My...

I have stayed with Susan & Steve for two year in row while attending a convention at UMASS. The house is located outside the main hustle of the college town, but is only a 10 minute walk. The owners are wonderful, honest people who know when to leave you alone and when to chat. I usually like to stay alone...

My daughter and I stayed in March when we were looking at colleges. The Homestead is that great balance of a rich historical atmosphere with all modern amenities. We were welcomed and well taken care of, and it was very quick to walk in to Amherst. There are some lovely birds kept downstairs, which I found fascinating.

What a wonderful B&B. This is a beautiful colonial style home with great screened porch for sitting a lovely garden. The B&B is conveniently located close to downtown Amherst and the bike path. The innkeepers, Sue and Steve make you feel like you are at home. Plus they serve a yummy breakfast each morning!
