This was a great place to stay. Meredith and her team made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. The lodgings are well maintained and have all comforts. The location to visit Annapolis and surrounding areas could not be better. We will visit Annapolis again and we will stay at Gibson.

Having always eschewed Bed and Breakfast lodging preferring instead the anonymity of regular hotels, my wife and I decided to throw caution to the wind and give a B&B a try. So glad we did. Gibson's Lodgings consists of three separate houses on a piece of property literally next door to the Naval Academy. Not near it. Next door to... More

My wife and I had two middle of the week nights in Annapolis while our dog was having surgery. Originally planning to stay at a hotel out on West Street, we happened upon Gibson's Lodgings on the Internet. What a lucky find. Three small buildings situated between the town dock and a pedestrian gate to the Academy. As always, location,... More

This place is lovely. It's a charming old bed-and-breakfast inn located literally right next to the Naval Academy; it's less than 100 feet to walk to the pedestrian entrance. It's also one street off the main waterfront in downtown Annapolis, so it's perfectly convenient for touring the city. The rooms are quite tight, which is the only reason I've not... More

Meredith is the trophy host. She deserves every recognition for hospitality, graciousness & humanity. Due to an elderly mother taking a turn for the worst, not only did Meredith revise my reservation, she went to the generous effort a second time of refunding our booking ( please don't copy this) At the height of tourist season, who else would do... I can't say enough about what a great stay this was. I'm not really a B&B person but I think we'll make a trip to stay at Gibson's a yearly event. The house is so lovely and the room was super comfy and furnished beautifully. The staff were incredibly nice.I pre-arranged to come early so that we could park in... More

Eighteen family members congregated in Annapolis last weekend and stayed at one of the lodges at Gibson's Lodging. It is a lovely/clean place in a great location. They had free parking, a small kitchen and a continental breakfast. There was also a parlor/living room which was a perfect place for our cocktail parties and after dinner gatherings. We all felt it... More

My best friend and I stayed here for a girl's weekend in the beginning of July, 2016. This was our second trip to Annapolis, so we had a good idea of what we were looking for in terms of a place to stay - good location, somewhere to park, and not too expensive. I looked up information on nearly every... More

There were 18 of us that stayed in 9 rooms of the "lodge" of Gibson's and it was terrific!! Air Conditioning was a necessity during the 100 degree days we were there and the rooms/common area stayed nice and COOL! The staff was very accommodating and helpful, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the amenities were plentiful. The B... More

We loved our stay at Gibson's Lodgings. It was our first time in Annapolis, so this small hotel in historic downtown Annapolis was perfect. Gibson's is literally next-door to the Naval Academy, in beautifully maintained18th century houses, and a short walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. There are comfortable common areas, both inside and out, the rooms are... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are fully remodeled and under new ownership as of December 2010. The three houses on the property, circa 1770, 1890, 1988, offer 20 rooms as well as a small meeting room. This is a great and distinctive place to stay while learning about the abundant history of the Annapolis area. We are conveniently next to the Naval Academy and only a half block from the City Docks. Two of the buildings are historic town houses: the Patterson (a 1760s Federal Georgian with 5 rooms and our main office & dining room) and the Berman (a 1890s house with a porch and 9 bedrooms, one equipped for travelers with disabilities). Behind them is the Lauer House, a 1988 addition with six king suites, a full kitchen and a sitting room that can serve as a meeting room. Filled with both antiques and reproductions, the bedrooms are of varying sizes. A central patio and courtyard serve as a common area for all three buildings. We offer free courtyard parking with your stay and a continental breakfast (including a hot waffle bar) each morning from 7:30-10:30. All our rooms are air-conditioned and have free Wi-Fi access along with flat-screen televisions, hair dryers and access to an iron and ironing board. A selected number of rooms are pet friendly with a $35 fee. ... more   less
