Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have been staying here since the year 2000 since buying property in Red Frog. That's another story! Clean and basic with tile floors. A couple of TV stations, but not happy with Fox. Desk and closet for your clothes. It's buy the Rey which is their Super Mercado. They have a small cafe here. The clerks speak very little English, but just show your reservation on your cell phone. I had issues getting Wi-Fi from the airport. Case Viego a few dollars .

I stayed here for about a week. Close to many little cafes and restaurants. It’s about 30 minute walk to Avenida Balboa. $5 Uber ride to most places like Casco Vjiejo, Amador Causeway, or bus station. Stay were nice and room pretty basic. I’d stay again. I loved Panama City :)

To each their own but this is a very basic, clean with no frills hotel. For me it served its purpose because I just needed a clean place to sleep and take a shower. Friendly staff and great location. Beds were very hard, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star.

I stayed for a few nights at Hotel Marbella on my way back to England during Covid -19 lockdown and was very impressed. It is good value and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and clean, I appreciated the decent sized desk and good wifi to complete my arrangements. It was a nice touch that the staff refilled jugs of iced drinking water on request. The bed was comfortable and cable tv worked well.  Although nothing was open at the time I visited, there's a mall and lots of restaurants nearby (which deliver takeaway during lockdown) and the hotel itself has a reasonable restaurant.  They also arranged a shared taxi for myself and another person to the airport for a good price.

Safe place to stay for a reasonable price. Families and solo travelers visit the restaurant for meals with economical prices. Not modern. Not fancy. Take a trip back in time for conservative family values in a business environment.

Staying one week at Marbella I could see: positive - location, personnel, cozy, wifi negative - limited breakfast, old air conditioning, electrical sockets could be more conveniently located in short it is a place to be recommended with these gaps

I am a single female traveler and stayed for 8 nights for $396 U.S. I had a king sized bed and everything was clean. The guests were a mixture of tourists and workers. The showers were always hot in the mornings but in the evening a little cooler. I had breakfast in the restaurant in the mornings 2 eggs and bacon, a plate of fruit orange juice, coffee and toast for $9.84 U.S. This is a good place to stay if you are going to be out most of the day. All you need is a place to sleep and wash and is clean.

Been eating in the restaurant for 10 years when in the City. Rooms are clean and maintained. I am amazed at the reviews that compare this hotel to chains five times the price. Everything works, beds are clean. Hot water showers and cold A/C. Even has room service! Can't believe the value at this rate. Will stay again.

This is economical for most people, shower was amazing pressure after staying in other parts of Panama. Great location to airport, were told it would be $30.00 from hotel to airport...it is only 3.2 km though! ALWAYS CONFIRM location to destination and COST before even getting in...2 cabs had no idea where the hotel was and we were charged more than double to go to both locations. Staff are friendly, use Google translator to communicate if needed!

This Hotel is cheap ($44usd per night) you get what you pay for... Is very well located, good service from the staff, rooms are clean, but the halls at night are VERY NOISY. Rooms: 3 stars --- The rooms are clean. The beds are ok.... the pillows ARE NOT very confortable (if you are not use to high pillow, this might be a problem). The shower and the a/c works GREAT! They don't have a security box inside the room. Wi-fi: 2 stars --- It's a little difficult to get a good signal in the room (my room was a little far away from the modem) Noise: 2 stars --- The halls are noisy, you could easily hear people on the hall, and if they're drunk... you could hear them even more. If you're a light sleeper... consider this!
