It is a complete hotel. Excellent service of staff. The smiles are everywhere and the food in this country is awesome! The heat of the city of Panama was cramped, but inside the hotel everything was fantastic.

We ended up spending about ten days here, great facilities and a useful meeting place for overland travellers. A great deal of useful information is at hand about Panama and also crossing in Colombia and the pitfalls to avoid.

If you are looking for the best place in Panama City for overlanders then you should choose Panama Passage. Their house is located in a quiet and save neighborhood that is close to some mayor attractions like the Casco Antiguo and the Miraflores locks. But more important for overlanders: The can provide you with a lot of help to ship your car to South America or somewhere else. They keep good contacts to freight forwarder which guide you through the shipping process. If you are shipping south or just waiting for your car coming from there, it is a great place to spend your time. Their target group is overlander and therefore you meet a lot of interesting people and can share good stories. The owner and his team are doing a great job to offer special service and help you with any kind of questions you may have. Camping in your own car is possible, but they also offer nice and clean rooms for a reasonable price. The place feels more like a family home than just an accommodation. I spent twice several days at Panama Passage and can therefore highly recommend the place!
