I stopped here for one night only with my friend before going to San Blas, all I can say is that the structure is really nice, old building re-used to host international travelers. The hostel features a well known bar famous for hosting parties all week-round, and the position is very strategic, just at the entrance of the old town...

Luna' castle is well placed in Panama City, seems an okay price and is clean enough. If you're staying a day or two as we were then I'm sure you will leave happy. We were there on a weekend though and it was very noisy all night and whilst a solid option, there isn't anything in our mind to elevate...

Upon arriving at "Luna's" as it called by the staff, I was immediately welcomed as family. The vibe here feels like a mixture between a gathering of long lost friends and people looking to have a good time. Luna's is located in one of the most interesting parts of Panama City, Casco Viejo, and the staff is all too happy...

Excellent location in Casco Viejo, although the sign is way above the door and so rather hard to spot. It is in a beautiful historic building. The common areas get hot so make sure to pay for a dorm with aircon. The dorms have lots of beds but there are privacy curtains. I snagged a room with an ocean view...

It's the little things that makes a great experience. From cheerful front staff to yummy banana pancake breakfast Luna's delivered! Curtains for each dorm bed added privacy and smart little lockers with power outlets in the reception area are both touches perfectly catered for a backpacker. Would recommend!

The thing I liked the best, was that you can wait or sleep in the living rooms until the check in. I arrived at 5 am and was extremely tired, and thankfully I could wait inside and rest in a couch. It got better with the coffee and pankakes I had. There´s a great vibe going on, and everyone has...

This place is really worth a visit. I'm big on a good place to stay--a spot that has comfortable rooms (check) great atmosphere (check--they have amazing art and a light-filled space with high ceilings) and is in a good area (check CHECK--Casco Viejo is incredible). Just as important to me, however, are the people that run it. Anybody who travels...

Lunas is a famous hostel in Panama city and well located in the beautiful Casco Viejo district. It is managed very well, even though it is quite big and has a lot of people every day, they manage to keep the rooms and the kitchen clean. Besides the living room there is a chill area with ping pong table and...

Luna's is a big place and in a great location, but I didn't love it. It has very cool art in the common rooms but overall the rooms themselves felt very dark and dingy. the bathrooms had poor lighting and Some positives are that the beds are comfortable, have curtains and are numbered, and they have lots of lockers if...

Following Captain Morgan’s plunder of Panama Vieja in 1671, stones from the ruins were used to construct the massive walls of Casco Viejo.
