I was looking for a safe place to stay in Managua, with great services. La Pyramide totally met my requirements and above! Manfred helped me under unexpected circumstances and his comprehension and attention to me were more than welcome... Very great food, nice staff, taxi service to the airport, wifi internet...named it :) Simply feels like home. Would definitively go...

The title says it all really. We were expecting great service after reading the other reviews here, and Manfred delivered. He met and exceeded our expectations. He treats you like a guest in his home. Also, the food at the restaurant was excellent. Manfred took our order by asking whatever we wanted. He said they have had over 300 dishes...

Visited Managua several times over the years and have stayed at different places but I will never stay anywhere else but La Pyramide in the future. Managua can be a difficult city but Manfred the proprietor of this hotel and his wonderful staff make this a great visit. The grounds are exceptionally clean, the food is very good and as...

Just back from a week in Managua where we stayed at the the very pleasant Hotel La Pyramide in the Ramses suite, which was spacious and pleasantly decorated. The small dining room served a varied menu of freshly prepared and very healthy food, everything from the welcoming beverage of "Rose of Jamaica" tea to the seasoned "salsa blanco" used in...

Let me get the bad out of the way. The rooms are plain, not as nice as in the hotels we stayed in Granada and Leon. However, this is an oasis of peace in Managua. Manfred is full of helpful info and is a great conversationalist. He sent an employee to meet us a mile from the property on a...

www.lapyramidehotel.com Sometimes things need to go badly to what a person is made of. I was in email communication with the owner, Manfred, regarding a reservation. I reserved a room for 2 nights. Upon my arrival, there was no record of my reservation. The desk clerk called Manfred who admitted that he had forgotten to notify the desk of my...

We arrived in Managua airport quite late but Manfred had organised a driver to pick us up. We unfortunately didn't get to meet Manfred himself but he had the foresight to leave chilled bottled water and snacks for us in our room. The breakfast was very good. It was near to the UCA bus station so we walked there with...

This place is a gem! If you're looking for a place to land for the night in Managua in the $40-50 price range, look no further. I arrived on a 10pm flight, so had to stay the night somewhere. Was going to shell out for the airport Best Western for the sake of convenience, but decided to give this place...

So, you looking for a hotel in the BIG city of Managua. You check all the regular haunts like chains etc. Price got you a little bummed. So I had made plans to stay at my normal Hilton points place, however, since I was only going to stay for one day, I checked the "advisor". Glad I did, the owner,...

We stayed at this hotel on our last night before leaving Managua. Manfred the owner was so hospitable and nice and came out to greet us when we arrived much later then he had expected. We were hungry and tired. He gave us a nice spacious room and told us that our food would be ready in 15 minutes. The...
