Manfred is a wonderful host. He will make you feel at home and do all he can to make your stay comfortable. This isn't your place if you like fancy hotels, but if you're more into learning about the culture give it a try. There are 10 rooms he designed around a Pyramid theme, including pyramid shaped rice and beans...

This was our second visit to Managua but first to this hotel. The owner of this hotel has lived in Nicaragua for 30+ years and was very helpful arranging our trip to the airport when we left. He even drove us himself to the local restaurants and picked us up when we were ready to return. The breakfast in the...

The best part of La Pyramide was our host and the owner, Manfred. He introduced himself to us at breakfast and gave us a tour of Managua. He gave us his business card and allowed us to contact him if we needed help with translations with locals or were in need of any other assistance. He even mailed out my...

Manfred is a terrific host. From initial email correspondence to final departure, he went out of his way to offer help and assistance during my short stay in Nicaragua. Breakfast is meticulously prepared in the morning, and he even had a meal made special for me upon my late arrival by bus from San Jose. In addition, my very early...

It's a small hotel tucked away in the heart of reparto san juan, very close to the food area. Love everything about it- especially its pyramid structure. My family and I have stayed here many times. They offer breakfast in the morning and there's a small pool/jacuzzi in the front area. And the owner is super sweer. 10/10

We've been at the Pyramide Hotel at the first and last day of our trip to Nicaragua. If you contact the very friendly german owner Manfred in advanced he will give you very valuable information what you will need for your trip. If you want he can arrange a pickup service from the airport which is really a good option,...

The place is clean and Manfred is certainly a nice guy, always there to great you with a smile and provide any info you might need, he is the primary reason for all the great reviews I suppose. The hotel is really not in a great location, it is hard to find and there aren't a bunch of taxis passing...

Excellent, clean hotel with exceptional service. The breakfast everyday was delicious and the staff very friendly. They helped me with finding good restaurants and also with ordering in. Manfred, the owner, is always available for a chat about Nicaragua and things to do. Would definitely recommend!

Manfred your host is one of the best in Central America and a friend for you while here. The service is good - rooms are nice and comfy and they are helpful too. Try for a deal online if you can but worth what you do pay deal or no deal. Longer stays just talk to Manfred about better arrangements....

Manfred was an amazing owner and host. First off, just email him directly vs using booking.com. Is saves him 10%. He provided me a full 6 page word doc on Nicaragua & places to go. Had a taxi waiting for me with my name on it for $20 which was so great after a long day of travel. My rate...
