The 3 day stay was comfortable. It does not have a full time restaurant, only breakfast, but there are many places to eat nearby. In fact most everything is conveniently located nearby. There were not too many people staying there, maybe one or two others. Made me wonder why there were not more people staying at this hotel. Rosa the...

The hotel has a "just like home" feel to it. Roberto is the owner, concierge, money exchanger, restaurant recommender, and just about anything. He is friendly to the extent you feel like you are in the company of family. In fact, Roberto also drove us to the airport in the morning at 5am since he was nervous that the taxi...

Best place to stay in Managua! Very elegant and safe. The owner is a wonderful person. Breakfast is delicious. Very flexible and accommodating to your individual needs. My wife loved the place. Highly recommend!

In May, I booked a three night stay at the Hotel Internacional Hotel in Managua. I was traveling alone, and looked for a reasonable priced hotel. I reviewed the ratings on Trip Advisor and was comfortable with my decision. Upon check in, I was greeted by a young man who spoke absolutely no English and my Rosetta Stone Level II...

i didn't spend a lot of time selecting a hotel for my trip to managua. i was there for a friend's wedding and didn't want to pay what i thought were exorbitant rates for the chain hotel in which the wedding party was staying. i did a package deal through orbits and randomly selected this hotel mostly because of the...

My girlfriend and I book this hotel to spend one night in once arriving late into Managua before departing the next day to explore the rest of the country. The hotel has a 24hr Gaurd, and there is always a friendly helpful member of staff on the front desk. Both speaking no Spanish, we we easily understood and helped to...

Small and local but very elegant and protected, the owners are incredible, like living in their own home, the "continental breakfast" is really a hand cooked meal to order (mild limitations but most breakfast foods available) served with kindness and respect. Very nice room, simple with large walk in shower that was great. AC worked well. Large open airspace in...

It took me hours to decide what hotel in Managua, since it was the first time here. I was focused on getting something closer to the malls and the center like the Intercontinental Hotel, but I figured it did not make a lot of sense to pay so much money for it. I was concern that if I got a...

Only stayed one night before flying out back to the US, but had a nice level of service and accommodations (bed, room, etc) were top notch. Nice bathroom with everything up to US standards for Intercontinental hotel chain. Also had a good meal at their restaurant, Factory.

We were greeted warmly. I was a bit concerned when the owner wanted to hold onto our passports until her husband returned in 30 minutes because she wasn't certain how to use the photocopier. Luckily, he returned sooner and I didn't need to leave my passport with her. Apparently, it is a regulation with immigration that they copy our passports....

“this hotel is off the beaten path, not quite to the city center. my cab driver from the hotel had no problem taking me there. i didn't bother with the tourist markets or malls so i can't comment about the proximity. but everything in managua is taxis or walking anyway. i walked to a nearby local restaurant and had cold beer and good food. what else do you need?”
