Loved this hotel . Comfortable room.
Amazing - if pricy- breakfast buffet. Liked the Ukrainian food at dinner . The gym was well equipped but we didn’t get to use the spa .
What makes this nice hotel special is their staff : friendly, helpful and knowledgable .
Hope to return .

Spent 3 night and felt at home there. Location is not the best though.
The rooms are very functional and comfortable the way you expect.
Didn't go spa, but it would have been good I believe overall standard is very high.
Liked it very much. Staff is excellent.

I really like this hotel. The only thing that I wish that they would change is to add a standup shower instead of a shower/tub combo. A very minor thing! This is a great hotel to stay at for both short and long trips. Two thumbs up.

Standard room
I know the breakfast here is expensive. I've been quoted 20 to 25 Euros. Are there any cafe's nearby which serve decent coffee and breakfast?
Yes, lots of places nearby.

I have booked a standard room. Are the standard rooms a decent size and is there a proper double bed with a double duvet and not 2 singles pushed together as shown in the hotel pictures. How much is breakfast?
I also booked a standard room and I think it's a zip and link double bed which is fine and firm but comfy. I can't remember if it was a double or single duvet but it was lovely. My rate included breakfast but it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had.

Hi! How close the hotel to some big supermarket? Thanks
There is a small supermarket about 6 minutes walk up the hill from the hotel. It depends what you want to buy but they had basic needs for me, toiletries, shaving foam etc, all the stuff that gets confiscated at the airport if you only have hand luggage. The staff at the Opera would give you a better idea for bigger, there are bigger ones nearby.

We are used to a "King size" bed. Can you please tell me how many inches wide your "Double" bed is? Thank you, Ken S.
I didnt measure precisely but by any standard the bed I slept in was a large king sized bed.

Dear Sir/Madam I am looking to stay in your residence sometime in March 2017. Is the location of this hotel in a quite part of Kiev. Is security good in and around the area of the Hotel. Thank you Regards WT Marshall (Ireland)
Dear WT Marshall, Thank you very much for your interest to Opera Hotel. We are in a fantastic location, walking distance to everything you could possibly need and more! 15-20 minutes walking distance from the city center. Each and every hotel employee is focused on our guest's needs and exceeding your expectations. Company that provides security services in the hotel closely works with some embassies in Kiev and have very good reputation on the market. Thank you one more time for your question and look forward to welcoming you at Opera Hotel soon. Yours sincerely, Nataliia Kucherenko Operations Manager Opera Hotel

"Quiet area"
"Take a normal room (backside instead of front side, less noise)"
"We were in a room with the round windows you see above the car park. It was very nice."
"I have stayed twice here and my rooms overlooked the back of the hotel I think. Not much to look at but very quiet which suits me."
"Junior Suites... not proper suites as the two rooms are small..."
