Its no longer a hostel, its a refugee shelter. We weren't aware of this, they tried to call me but I didn't had a message. There are still people from the hostel who were very kind helping us. Try another hostel.

11 of us stayed for 6 nights and it was as if we had our own little house. Good showers, decent cereals, nice decoration, and friendly and helpful hosts. Location isn't too bad either. Not too long from the centre and spitting distance from decent pubs. Might want to invest in a taxi for the 'splavovi' (river clubs) though.

This Hostel for round about only 6 Euros a night has nice rooms, a kitchen, a good position and a very dedicated crew! If I had a question or something need to know, they always took time, called travelguides and so on. Feel like under friends!

We were there in late December 2014, so there weren't many people in the hostel, which I think was part of the reason things were so calm in the hostel. The staff was helpful (just 2 dudes that I know of) and gave us directions on everywhere we wanted to go. There was also a little calico kitten there that...

I was there for 3 nights. While it was low season so I was there only with 2 other guys (we checked in pretty much the same time) and no other guests were there. In low season, it may not be the best place of a hostel you can easily meet other travellers but instead you can enjoy its space...

From the beginning of the Hostel era in Belgrade, many have opened and closed to this day. However The Star Hostel, situated in the old part of the town, Dorcol Historical, is still opened. The Staff as the owners are very friendly, advice happy, helpful in any situation, for tourists from all over the world. So if you are venturing through...

The Hostel is okay it has everything you need as in a kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff are helpful and it is a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre. What made the stay for us more enjoyable was meeting people in the living area and heading out with them. We found it was easy to meet people in...

I had a lovely time staying at Star Hostel for 4 nights during the World Cup. The hosts were very friendly and approachable, however the star of the hostel must be the kitten named Thomas Muller - so cute, friendly and entertaining. I'd definitely recommend this hostel for the relaxed traveller.

It was my first time in Belgrade. I came as a walk-in since the hostel is located in the city center so most off the monuments, sight seeings and clubs are close by. What can I say. A really nice little hostel, very clean, free wi-fi, free towels, lockers, hot water as much as you like and a very cosy...

I'm passing through Belgrade every now&then, and every time i stay in this hostel, because it's kind of all-you-can-possibly-need place! It's in the quite part of the Belgrade downtown, so the sleeping quality is fairly good, and it's very close to all the sites(and clubs, which makes the crawling back at night easy). There is a spacious and wicked cool...
