Spent 3 nights there and met both a lot of great people and had a great time. The hostel is really well located and in walking distance of all the main location. The staff was really nice and gave really good points on where to go.

The hostel only houses dorms, although there are 6 double bed dormrooms. The showers and toilets are shared with the whole floor. The prices are really low, even in high season. This is a barebones sleeping place, not a lot of amenities. Wi-fi's available everywhere and is free of charge. The lockers in the room are also included in price....

Wouldn't recommend it, especially if you can afford somewhere else and you want a good nights sleep. The reception don't have a system to assign beds, they just show you to the room and let you pick your bunks even after 11pm when people have already switched the light off to sleep. Staff weren't very friendly either and seemed bothered...

This was one of our favourite hostels of our interrailing trip. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very centrally located. The kitchen is a good size and there's a large supermarket and outdoor fruit-market just a two minute walk away meaning meals can be made cheaply. Lockers are provided. Also the laundry service was incredible. For a cheap price (I can't...

Very good hostel. Clean, organized, good toilets and showers. Good localization, about 10-15 minutes walking from the main street (Tkalciceva Street). Very helpful staffs. Nice common area. There is a kitchen if you need. Lockers inside the room. There is no lift, but this was not a problem for me.

Brit Hostel is a nice place to stay: it is in easy walking distance of Zagreb's attractions, exceptionally clean, has a very cool and decently-priced bar, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The staff are kind, helpful and friendly. My only criticism is that the bunks are quite creaky which can be a little annoying but other than that everything was great.

Approachable staff, relatively clean rooms, and located within walking distance to the main attractions in Zagreb. Kitchen facilities were great, and there is even a bar at the ground floor if you needed any beverages, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. However, wifi wasn't the best on the higher floors, and they could perhaps benefit from some new mattresses (I was able to...

Good Hostel, great facilities, clean, good staff, hostel policies were good. I liked this hostel and ended up extending my stay there. It is a quiet place at a very good location. Especially, its shower area & common area reminds me of british-style interiors. I recommend this place to all travelers.

Found The Brit when I made an unplanned stop at Zagreb on my way to Budapest, after finding no vacancy in 3 previous places. The place is clean, quiet and has a friendly staff. With the A/C on, the temperature at the 12 bed room was really comfortable even on a hot summer day; a hard to find amenity in...
