Couldn't be closer to most of what a new visitor would want to see in Zagreb. A few nits -- leaky bathroom fixtures, a convoluted and inadequate parking situation, and the rooms were small, even by Euro standards. But the bed was comfortable, the wifi was passable, the air conditioner worked, and we slept reasonably well. Nice, breakfast service in...

The Palace hotel is in such a great location, just a few minutes walk into the heart of Zagreb and all the great museums are within walking distance. The staff are friendly and the service is very good. The rooms are quite spacious and very well appointed. The bedding was very comfortable. The hotel provides free wifi. Overall it's was...

This famous centrally located hotel provided a fantastic base for us to explore the old city and the surrounds over 3 days. The hotel has a classy charm, the staff are friendly and helpful plus they have a great restaurant Our room was very adequate in size and quality and being at the rear had both a garden view and...

clean rooms, and pleasant staff, but no atmosphere and a very depressing dining room without windows for the euro breakfast. Excellent free wifi worked all over the hotel. Just a shame that the soul is buried under generic hotel decor and furnishings.

Firstly, my girlfriend and I chose this hotel because of its close proximity to both the train station and the centre of the city. It's approximately a 10 minute walk from both, so in terms of location its a very good choice! It's also worth noting that there is a tram stop extremely close to the hotel. The building is...

Was told to leave window open to solve problem, but didn't solve it. Breakfast is rich and nice. Hotel going through some renovations maybe should work on having more helpful...

We stayed here with a tour group of 13 people. Several of us had to change rooms because things didn't work: broken safes, defective air conditioning controls, etc. If you are assigned a room with a 700 number, you must take a special elevator off to the side of the hotel with floor numbers that only go up to 6....

The dates 1891-1991 above the entry presumably were added at the hotel's centennial. We would have loved it in its heyday. Alas, it has undergone a less-than-inspired renovation. It was expanded into adjacent buildings with different floor levels; to reach our room we had to ride the elevator up, then walk down almost a full flight of stairs. The renovated...

The hotel is very well located...close to the old town, on the tram line, and across from a pretty fountain park. Our room was on an upper floor, somewhat small but nicely renovated with warm colors and modern conveniences. The staff was very professional and helpful with suggestions in our city touring. The only negatives we experienced was a weak...

The hotel is only a few blocks from the train station so we were able to walk here quickly with our luggage. It is a traditional style hotel with a classy restaurant on the side as this was formerly a palace. There are several banks of elevators so some may be further from your room but some elevators require you...
