The hotel staff are friendly, my room was on the 6th floor with good views and was modern and clean. The hotels location is a short taxi drive to Sofia Central which cost us Bulgarian 5 LEV = 2.55euro in February 2017

I wouldn't say that it's the worst hotel I've ever been, but still for it's brand name it should be much better. Normal standard rooms, normal meals and breakfast. When I"ve been there it could use a renovation.

Marinela Hotel in Sofia has the best ratio of quality vs price by far. Compared to many other hotels I have stayed in the area, Marinela is really the best combination by far since it is in a good location, has many superior quality places to eat or relax internally and the personel is willing to help you with any...

We occupied 2 rooms that had an adjoining door. Had no expectations, just thought it would be a large hotel. Ah, no....

To be true, I have only pro's regarding this hotel. - very good and fast service. The day we arrived there was a problem with the fridge (call it "minibar") in the room - it simply did not cool. I called the reception, and the lady which answered told me they should send the maintenance man immediately. The man was...

I had been in Marinela Sofia for a day for a business trip. Starting from Airport, including some of the guests at the hotel, they mentioned Kempsinski. Apparently this hotel is a previously occupied by Kempinski? Decoration, atmosphere is nothing related with Kempinski style and standard. In case you like exaggerated luxury this might be the one for you. Standard...
