Haris hostel is a superb place to stay, with a great view from the balcony and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Haris make sure everyone is enjoying their stay to the maximum with organising excursions, barbecues in the weekend and even going out with the visitors. Rooms were nice and clean. Surrounding area is great as you are staying on top of a mountain. Therefore also great view of the...

This hostel was just lovely! The staff was amazing, really helpful and friendly. The location was also just perfect, only a 5 minute walk from the main square. The dorms are small and the common areas are really big, and everything is super clean :) O and there is a free bbq on sunday night, awesome!

Haris and his staff are the best! I stayed for 6 nights and took the tour offered with Haris. He takes you to the Tunnel of Life, the 1984 Olympic Bobsled Track and Stadium, Sniper Alley, the site of Franz Ferdinand's assassination, and the Old Town. The personal stories were what made this an exceptional experience. The rooms were nice...

Haris, the hostel's owner, runs 2 brilliant hostels in both downtown and in the surrounding hills, the latter having some spectacular views despite the strenuous walk! Being one of the older hostels in the city, they have the best knowledge of the area, with Haris running a good value and informative tour of the city daily. No complaints for this...

If you dont mind a little walk uphill, you will find yourself in the hostel that you can not find everywhere. And if you're lucky to meat Haris the owner, the picure will be complete. He's organizing city tours you shouldnt miss, and free barbicue on his balcony with the sunset view over Sarajevo.
