          Awesome and adventurous stay. Pyongyang is definitely worth a trip and unsurprisingly there are only 3 hotels available for tourists in the city.           I spent 3 nights here last July 16. It was certainly a little dated - a 70's time warp, but we had great views of the surrounding neighborhood. The staff were a little reserved but then again our guides did all the dealing with them....More

          Precisely as mentioned by DukeTroy. On my trip I was told the country preferred to deal in Euros, and generally conversion rates work better that way. Most stores and hotels will accepts Euros, Yuan Renminbi or US Dollars.
