If you are stopping through Papeete then this is a good choice. There's a supermarket/store next door. The suite we had slept 6 people and had 2 bathrooms. It was nice inside. It had a kitchen but no silverware only a pan. The staff was friendly but the hallways get really dark at night. Lowkey kind of creepy.

This hotel is very nice. They wore their masks, had sanitizer everywhere and it was very clean. We loved our room. I brought my adult daughter to French Polynesia for her first time and we stay in Papeete for 3 nights as part of our package. Loved that a mini-mart is right next door for those bottles of water & snacks we needed. Our room was large, 2 double beds, a couch, small fridge, great room for suitcases, lovely shower, and overlooking the pool with an excellent view of the mountains. We walked everywhere and enjoyed this start of our trip. Our package included their American Breakfast. Made sure you ask for bacon & potatoes with your eggs as they don't mention that and it is included. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was the friendliest we encountered in French Polynesia. We had room 418, just off the elevator. I agree with others, the hallways are very dark, so we were glad of where our room was located.

Room Tip: Room 418 was just off the elevator with a great view & not in the "dark" area.

Two main advantages of this place: 1. great location in central Papeete and 2. hotel is modern, clean, and in good condition. We were positively surprised overall. Walking distance to restaurants, the market, and other attractions in downtown Papeete. A good place to stay at if you are transiting through Papeete and would like to check out the town for a day or so. About 10 minutes cab ride from the airport if no traffic. The room was in very good shape. Roomy and modern. Make sure to reserve a room with Mountain View, as the other side of the hotel is on one of the main thoroughfares in Papeete and can get busy and noisy. The Mountain View side however is much quieter. Do take ear plugs nonetheless due to the roosters early in the morning. This is the case pretty much everywhere in French Polynesia...there are roosters everywhere. There is a pool on one of the roofs of the hotel. Check in staff were very friendly and helpful. Lastly, in regards the comment by other reviewers about the hallways being dark, it is due to the fact that they are open air and not enclosed. Light in an open space in the tropics attracts insects! Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by this place and would recommend it if you are looking for a short transit stay in Papeete.

I was very excited to stay here based on the pictures I had seen. Although it is one of the pricier places in the area, I thought the accommodations would be worth it. The lights in the hallways were all out, no emergency lighting, so we had to find out room with our iPhone lights. We thought this was temporary but it’s the same the next day and all over the hotel. The roosters crowed all night long and it was horrible. The AC unit was also terribly noisy. Although the reception was very nice, they misinformed us about the ferry schedule by giving us last year’s outdated ferry schedule; this resulted in us missing the ferry and our accommodation on Moorea. Word to the wise, you cannot hear pictures. Hopefully someone from customer service will reach out and put in a little effort to win our confidence back but I’m not holding my breath.

We stayed here in September, 2020 for one night since our UAL flight arrives too late for the ferry over to Moorea. We also learned that they offer access to the pool, a shower and will store your bags for only $35/person so we came here again at the end of our trip to clean up before our all-nighter back to SFO. As for the hotel, staff is super friendly (as in everyone in Tahiti), bed was comfortable, A/C worked well and the breakfast was tasty. Be forewarned that they keep the entire hotel VERY dark (lobby, hallways and spa shower), so if you don't see well in the dark, bring a flashlight or use your phone.
