Friendly, cheap solution if you look fot a few nights in suva. Rooms are basic, bed and table. Bathroom, kitchen and washing room available. Dry cleaner 10 mins walk. Central suva 15 mins walk. Fiji museum just around the corner. Try to get room on the first level, the ground level rooms can be noisy, especially by the kitchen. Charming...

Location: The place is up a small hill close to the rugby practice play ground. There is a police station near by so its relatively a safe area. Place: It's an organized place with proper amenities. I did not cook there but they had a kitchen. The dorm rooms had single beds, I stayed in a 4 bed dorm. The...

I have been staying here every decade or so since 1986, and it has never lost it's appea for mel. OK, I am a cheapskate, but apart from the room price you can meet some of the nicest people there - world travelers, locals, Pacific Islanders, and not least the staff. You run into them in the big lounge, the...

Old-style colonial building, a clean basic bedroom, a bit of a walk along hallway to shower/ toilet, a quaint TV lounge with comfy chairs, books and old photos round the walls. Just a 10 minute walk uphill from the Museum, Gardens and Suva Bowling Club (inexpensive but filling lunches )

very basic accommodation, might be the only option if looking for cheap accommodation in Suva, but there isn't much to do in Suva anyway. There are no power points except for in public areas, and then there are only two. So you can't really charge your valuables unless you're comfortable leaving them in the public area of a place that...

Perfect location offering multiple room options for the budget traveller. Good kitchen facilities and wonderful gardens to roam around. Would be good if they enforced their quiet time so that noisy travellers are not allowed to keep other guests awkake given the common areas are next to the downstair rooms.

We are budget travelers and we really loved this place where we stayed 3 nights : very close to the Fiji Museum, and not too far from town ! The atmosphere is very quiet and lovely, you feel like at home. Rooms are pretty big and very clean. Staff is helpful. Very useful and fully-equipped kitchen. Good TV lounge (we...

PROS: We didn't have a reservation when my husband, teenage daughter and I arrived at 9am, but were allowed an early check-in at no additional cost. Building is attractive, like a historic dormitory with polished wood floors and stair banisters. Our room was spartan, but clean. No A/C in rooms, but overhead fans were fine during hot season in December....

The place has nice location and definitely an old colonial charm which makes it interesting to wander along its corridors. Could do with a little uplifting yet in terms of confort or facilities yet the main thing that keeps the review average is lack of cozy atmosphere and some vibe.

Soft thin sponge foam mattress over widely spaced slats with short length between high bed head and foot makes for bad sleeping. Cost of 1 night would buy much better beds. Cheap. Noisy. Echoey. Staff couldn't help us find post office. Owners provide minimal maintenance and don't put any money back in to improve the business
