Serious management issues at this place. Racist white staff belittle and abuse native workers who are resentful and constantly pump the few guests to do activities and order more drinks. The place is clearly running at a loss having just transitioned from a highly sucessful backpackers to a more upmarket resort. There was no safe drinking water in the rooms...

Hi there, Thanks for your review, however unfortunately without knowing all the facts in place, I feel you are unable to comment honestly. As the new Management, we are aiming to make a much better experience, and unfortunately that decision has meant to move away from the backpackers market. Our apologies for no safe drinking water in your room, as...

Mango Bay Resort is a great family friendly resort. The staff are wonderful and the food, especially dinners, are just great. We had a family 50th birthday party. The dinner table was set away from other guests right on the beach. We were so impressed they even set up the area for the 2nd night. It might be a small...

Place is in the middle of know where so you can't get anything you need. You are forced to buy from there limited and expensive menu. The owner just hung around all day drinking. Didn't feel comfortable as this place.

Alive B, we have checked your past reviews and credentials, 1. We can not find any details of your staying at Mango Bay. 2. All your other reviews are 'YUK', it makes me wonder if maybe you are your own problem. 3 Or are you part of the past GM's group retaliating for him over his dishonesty, resulting in his...

The occasion was our 30th wedding anniversary and and as soon as the owner heard about it he suggested a special dinner on the beach incl a bottle of champagne, which we really enjoyed! We had a most relaxing week in our bure by the beach. Food in the restaurant was very nice, the staff VERY friendly and helpful, the...

The garden surrounding the resort gives such a natural, fiji island feel to your stay, as well as the restaurant overlooking the beautiful beach (with perfect water) . The menu has several western options, as well as curry and of course the daily fish specials which were never a let down. My partner and I were very happy with the...

Loved Mango Bay resort. Tiny resort - flashpackers- so ideal for solo travellers. Gardens immaculate. Fiji style huts which i loved, no tv, no phone, want to switch off, then this is perfect. Outdoor showers- under the stars. Awesome. Open the front door and the beach is in front of you, 2 seconds away. Clean exclusive beach. Hammocks to hang...

Our first two nights in a beachfront Bure were awesome! First time to Fiji and it was what I imagined it to be!! Traditional, lovely building with an outside shower and inside toilet. Beautiful resort let down wholeheartedly by the restaurant and food quality. And this is very important as there are no shops or other restaurants anywhere nearby. We stayed in a beachfront bure which was lovely. It had a comfy bed with mosquito net, ceiling fan, and hot outside shower which was nice and quirky. The sea breeze and fan keep...
