Room was basic but the restaurant was very good. The location was off the beaten track. I understand that the place was up for sale and may have changed hands in December 2014 - if so, the plans were to remodel and update everything.

Stayed here as part of a business trip paid for by our hosts which was very generous and the beach literally on your doorstep it was like staying in paradise with fine white sand and crystal blue sea. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the service levels very high Would recommend as a romantic hotel for couples and promised...

Jane and her husband were awesome!! They welcomed my family and our dog to their resort with exceptional hospitality. The food was the best we have had in fiji. Jane and her two cooks make the best kakonda!! It was a great value and a perfect place for us to stay with our dog. They even gave our 11 month...

I stayed here at the end of September for 3 nights for a very last minute trip away to escape and relax, in which was very much achieved. Throughout my stay the staff were more than accommodating and very welcoming as a solo traveller ( not a very prepared one), this was an absolute godsend. Being approx 10 minutes drive...

Ok, this is a cheap hotel, but please find another one. "Beachside" is just a name, because first of all it is not on the beach, and second you can't swim on the beach because that is the beach fishermen use to throw out dead fish. The location of the hotel is very off, so you would have to take...

We are sorry that Beachside Resort did not meet your expectations. We apologise for the gates being locked on Tuesday 30th Sept. By the same token I feel compelled to offer the other side of the story. When you left for the Island were were told that you would be returning on Monday 29th,however you did not arrive that night...

We arrived late at night due to a delayed flight and found the owners very accommodating to the point where we were made dinner at around 10pm even though the kitchen was closed and cleaned. The meal we had was the most delicious we had the whole time we were in Fiji. The rooms were simple but adequate and clean....

We only stayed there on the way to another Island and back, the food was great and the hosts pleasant even when we had to wake Phillip up at 5am as our taxi didn't come and he rang for another one, I had mistakenly taken the key of our room for a week but he was fine with that, all...

We stayed here for one night. It was fine, but that's about all. Given it was called Beachside and we'd just landed in Fiji I thought we'd go to the beach! I couldn't work out how to get to the beach so I asked the staff. She said you walk 5-10mins back down the road to the next resort and...

We welcome your comments, its a pity you made the wrong choice but at least you know where you would prefer to stay on your next visit to Fiji. It has been particularly bad year for ants and if you have food in your room they invade en masse.Unfortunately or should I say fortunately the tropics are synonomous with bugs -...

I agree with Cazitup, it was really noisy all night with people coming and going and dogs barking, the blinds in the room didn't close properly. The food was crap and overpriced. The complimentary breakfast was two pieces of white toast. We ended up walking up the road to 'Club Fiji' and lying in one of their hammocks on the...

Bula, we are pleased that Trip Advisor has offered you a forum on which to express your displeasure - we try our best, but as you would know it is impossible to please everyone. You will have noted on the booking site you chose that Beachside Resort was described as "a bit off the beaten track down an unmade road,a stroll to...
