We stayed at Bamboo for the whole of November (2016), we couldn't have stayed at a nicer place, all the staff are amazing... Very Friendly atmosphere from dusk till dawn... Daily activities and exclusions for those interested, trips to the Mud pools, Rock pools, islands, fishing, surfing and much more, all reasonably priced a lot cheaper than other places plus... More

What a great little place Bamboo is. We received A+ hospitality from the get-go, from airport pick up with the awesome Shaneil, check in with the lovely Mele to our very last kava session (Ben, Wayne and the rest of the bamboo family.) Very affordable, and the staff are really warm, friendly and welcoming ... they really do make you... More

My cousin (Masina) and I went on a very last minute/very spontaneous trip to Fiji and decided to stay at Bamboo Backpackers. BEST DECISION EVERRRR!! Mele from reception greeted us with a warm smile every time we saw her (miss you Mele!), and the boys (Shaneil, Ben and "Stacy") were very accommodating and just awesome staff members. They would always... More

Have been to Travellers a few times to have a few drinks and dinner. Great atmosphere, though a bit rowdy when the beach is full. The food is always great and the service decent even when busy. However, on more than one occasion there was who i assume was a manager that openly yelled at bar staff in front of... More

Food here was excellent and very fairly priced which comprised of three menus. Happy hour was offered twice a day, there was tv, table tennis... More

The dormitory for 6 people is extremely narrow, if everyone arrives with suitcases over 20 liters it is impossible to move in the bedroom, the lockers are safe, the common area is perfect with plenty of activities, netflix, ping pong table, snooker, pool Small (they could enlarge because there is space) the sunset seen from the back of the hostel...
