Great staff. Great food and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Steak cooked perfectly and my ceasur salad was great. Really enjoyed ourselves and great value for money. Thanks guys. Will be back soon for another round. And the deck extension is awesome!

We went there for dinner. Food was great. There was a live band playing and following day a rave with lots of beer and music. Great place to go to have fun. Island night was super fun! A great place to party and meet lot of fun and cool people.

Stayed one night. View over pool was corrugated iron due to poolside upgrade. Room fronted directly onto bar which was open till midnight, then partying in the next door room till 2.am. If you want to be at the bar all night then OK - if you want some sleep - look elsewhere.

Kia Orana. Thank you for your review. The corrugated iron is gone. The new pool pavilion on the waterfront is breathtakingly beautiful. We have started our room sound proofing project - the results are very very quiet. Kia Manuia.

Kia Orana. Thank you for your review. Our renovations have commenced with the outdoor dining area and will move to rooms where windows will be replaced with 'sound-proof' glass to make all rooms very quiet. Hotel interiors will be upgraded with a departure from the 'terracotta' look & feel, to a beach theme with lagoon, sand & grass colours. The...

Came here for the Island Night. Fabulous entertainment and great food. The majority of us are vegetarians and we certainly didn't go hungry! We had a great night out with the family and left thoroughly happy!

We recently had two lunch time meals at the Islander Hotel. Their Tuna Tataki was easily the best meal both myself and my husband had during our stay in Rarotonga. We ate as a family of 4 and both times everyone enjoyed every meal. The wait staff were also very pleasant and we felt that 'Rarotongan' warmth that seems lacking...

Visited the Islander regularly over the past 2 years. Always had good food and friendly service. Thank you. The only bar restaurant with a pool next to the bar that you can use until 6.00 pm every day. We have heard some very talented live music here. Awesome sunsets and cheapest beer in town. An oasis opposite the airport, right...

Kia Orana. Thank you for your review. We focus on fresh tasty meals at affordable prices. We also focus on cold drinks at affordable prices ($3.50 drinks at the beachfront Hula Bar). 'Value for Money' is our priority. Everyone who walks through the main door always say "wow - look at that view!". Kia Manuia.

We stayed at The Islander for 6 days. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was cleaned and tidied everyday. Although the Hula Bar can be noisy until quite late it did not affect us as when the room windows were closed it was pretty quiet. We got our drinks at the Hula Bar and then took...

We were collected at the airport on arrival, and within 2 minutes we were at our hotel. The hotel is located on the water, across the road from the airport. The room was a good size but is nothing flash. A good place if you want to be close to the airport, and I believe the Hula Hula bar is...
