On our return journey to Australia we had a one night stopover in Rarotonga. Our travel agent had booked us in to the Edgewater Resort for the night. we will be advising them to cross them off their list as it was so tired and the staff were NOT happy to be there. As we needed to kill time and...

This hotel is located very close to the airport and a 10 minute walk from town. We didn`t hire a car as we could walk to town, the markets or catch the local bus on the days we weren`t doing a tour. The room was very clean, plenty of space and had air conditioning. The hotel has a hula bar...

You can walk across the street to this hotel from the airport, so it is very convenient. It has nice views of the ocean, big rooms and very nice staff. However it also has an outdoor club right next to most of the hotel rooms. My husband and I were hoping for a night of 2 of rest as we...

We went to The Islander Hotel twice during our time in Rarotonga. It's in a fantastic location, quite literally across the road from the airport and wth a beautiful view of the crystal clear waters. It is very clean & tidy & the staff are so friendly & welcoming. The meals and drinks are excellent value and also delicious. The...

Loved the room, air con. and friendly customer service. Having the Hula Bar conveniently located a one minute walk away from the rooms makes it easier to have a few drinks with friends while listening to some good music! :)

Our family enjoyed a lovely Christmas buffet Dec 2016 at the Islander Hotel. It was the most reasonably priced and couldn't fault the buffet. They also have great pizzas. We bought our drinks (beer and soda's $3.50 each) at the Hula Bar which is we brought to our table to eat with our meal. Ordering food and drinks on the...

We arrived late and flew out early to Aitutaki the next morning so needed a one night stay. This hotel is perfect for that purpose. It is walking distance from the airport and their rooms are basic but good. They have a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. One disadvantage for us was that there is a bar with loud...

We attended their buffet dinner and cultural show, held on Tuesday evenings. It is half the price of others on the island, and is attended by a lot of locals. The food was plentiful, although perhaps not as flavorful as other similar dishes to be found on the island. Waitresses were pushing the drink menu, which is not included in...

Kia Orana. Thank you for your review. Cook Islanders are the fussiest diners of 'Cook Islands Cuisine'. A simple 'ika mata - raw fish' meal has intricate flavours and degrees of freshness, that only a Cook Islander will know & understand, and god help you if get it wrong! Our Island Night feast & cultural show on Tuesdays is continuously...

It's a great spot to stay before departing Rarotonga. An easy level walk approximately 200m from the airport. Check your bags in and return to the hotel for lunch, dinner or just a drink whilst waiting for your flight. There's also a Polynesian Car Rental Agency there as well. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The food is excellent, and not...
