We were in a triple room on the second floor, overlooking the llama stable. The setting of the property and the grounds were breath-taking. The main buidling had some construction work going on, so there was a makeshift restaurant without much of an ambience. The room was very average, like a basic hotel chain in the US, quite worn, the...

This hotel was a welcome relief after my hotel in Cusco. The grounds are beautiful, the room and bathroom large and rustic feeling, almost like a cabin, with the most comfy beds and pillows I had on my entire trip. The view from the room is great - and it's nice to have an area by the window with table/chairs...

I agree with mujerlinda, beautiful setting, the rooms have very rustic decor, with white rough stone walls and an unusual designed ceiling, the enclosed seating area was nice, but the room felt very hot during the day, with the sun shining in, loved watching the two alpacas in the garden. Did not eat at the hotel, so cannot comment on...

Beautiful hotel actually located in Yanahuara ("black underwear). Bar was nice and the dinner was wonderful! I had carpaccio, beef with rice, and a chocolate tart. Hotel room had nice enclosed balcony area and 2 regular sized beds. Bathroom was very nice. Grounds were beautiful and they had some alpaca in a small enclosed area behind our room. I would...

We stayed two nights for our Gate 1 tour. We got a double bed, very spacious and has a private patio. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere but I like the idea how its very quite and picturesque. Cons: - I didnt care much about the food in their restaurant (although...

On a tour in Peru our group used this hotel a stop over for one night. Very unexpected. Seems to be in the middle of nowhere that does not match the neighborhood. My room was comfortable. Lots of space. Great views of the valley. They do have a spa but I did not use. Would stay here again if traveling...

I stayed here with my husband as part of a tour to Machu Picchu. We wanted somewhere that would be easier traveling between the other historical sites and MP. My sister had previously done anMP tour staying in Cuzco, which proved to be tougher travel wise. Sacred Valley is perfect, close to the famous Maras salt mines and Moray ruins....

Nestled in the Sacred Valley, this hotel really is a gem. I could wax lyrical about the service, the rooms, the landscaped gardens but others have done that so instead I'll just add that the hotel also has its own observatory which is a must (especially with the skies being so dark hereabouts).

I was traveling with a small group and we had left Machu Picchu for the Sacred Valley for a few days. I was violently ill when I arrived here and the hotel was attentive and caring. They sent oxygen to the room, a fan that I requested, and a team of medical staff. All was very professional and appropriate treatment...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sacred Valley's most complete hotel: a mountain chalet-styled retreat with panoramic Andes views from every room and every angle. On more than 8 landscaped acres, it breathes an air of tranquility and relaxation. Unique among Sacred Valley hotels - most of which remain isolated in the valley, offering precious little for guests to do - it contains an extraordinary, full-service "Sacred-Spa", a domed Planetarium-&-Observatory for stargazing in the massive Southern-Hemisphere sky, and gourmet restaurant and bar. ... more   less
