We stayed at the Lizzy Wasi for one night in March and I can not begin to describe how surprised we were once those gates at the front opened. Never would you expect this mini paradise to be located at the end of this dirt alley way. With great views, great rooms, and an even greater courtyard (fire pit, hammocks,...

This was our favorite hotel of our 8 nights in Peru. It isn't an easy place to get to as it's a narrow road but once you enter the compound, it is an oasis. We had three rooms and each very different---one a bit basic but all well thought out and charming. Nice linens---comfortable beds and great bathrooms. The one...

Our family stayed at Lizzy Wasi on the way to and from Machu Pichu. Elizabeth took great care of us, even giving us several rides around town in her car and helping us arrange other details of our trip. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is one of the best. Book it.

We loved Hotel Lizzi Wasi from the moment we walked through the courtyard doors. The grounds are so beautful and well maintained. Owner, Lizzy, has chosen a wonderful group of staff and they were all so kind and helpful. The rooms were quiet, large and super comfortable. We stayed in an upper floor room with 2 twin beds and a...

We just stayed overnight on our way through the Sacred Valley. The rooms are very cozy and clean. Breakfast was very adequate. We had excellent customer service and would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Hotel Lizzy Wasi sits behind a nondescript wall in a skinny alleyway in Urubamba, but once you walk through the door, a whole new world opens up. Gorgeous gardens and the smell of fragrant jasmine await you. Run by US expat Lizzy, Hotel Lizzy Wasi was the perfect place for our family. Our stay here was a last-minute decision because...

Lizzy Wasi popped up in my search for a Triple room, I liked the location and access to nearby attractions. Elizabeth, the innkeeper, quickly answered my email questions before the trip, on luggage storage before Machu Picchu, cab service, etc., Her very generous help made Lizzy Wasi an easy choice for a place to stay. She is truly a first...

The Lizzy Wasi is that rare blend of a wonderful hotel at a very reasonable price, capped by a thoroughly amazing owner and staff. We spent our first night in Peru there, and it spoiled us. Subsequent accommodations at Aguas Calientes and Cuzco were good, even very good, but the Lizzy Wasi stood in a class by itself. The meticulously-manicured...

We loved this hotel, it is ever so quaint. The owner is a very friendly person, actually one of the few people who could speak in English fluently and get some information about Peru. She was ever so helpful, so do ask her if you have any queries in general about the area or even Peru. The walls in the...
