The place is settled at a very quite and peaceful valley. The environment and view is beautiful. You get to see mountains surrounding you every morning when you wake up, it's incredible. The hosts, Chito and Joyce are very nice. They make you feel at home. The social environment is lively. You can strike up a conversation with anybody. I...

I spent a week at Melissa Wasi during a retreat - suffice it to say, I will never stay anywhere else when I return to Pisaq. Melissa Wasi is an extraordinarily peaceful place with beautiful and well-kept gardens. Chito is a gracious host and always there if you have a question or need something. Melissa Wasi has an onsite temple...

Melissa Wasi is set in a beautiful eucalyptus grove and garden just a short trail to town, along the Urubamba river. The big house, and the adjacent bungalows, are beautifully built in the "Taos" style of architecture. They are furnished with weavings, rugs, ceramics, and other art objects. The beds have fluffy down comforters, sparkling clean. The breakfast, including eggs...

This place is run by two of the loveliest, chill, caring Peruvians you could meet. Upon our arrival we were taken care of very well. Usually Chito asked us about the things we needed (laundry service, airport transfers) before we had a chance to ask him first. The property itself is very picturesque and tranquil. The restaurant serves incredible food....

Spent 2 nights here: very comfortable; attentive staff; fire every night for the cool temperatures. Very pretty setting; restaurant across the street is excellent. It is away from the busy town center which is worth exploring.

We only stayed here one night (4 sisters traveling together) but wished we had stayed longer as this is a lovely hotel in a beautiful country setting just outside Pisaq. Very helpful staff, great breakfast and excellent restaurant adjoining the property where we could actually eat the salad (American chef uses organic produce cleaned in purified water). We were there...

We only wish we could have stayed longer. We had a whole house to ourselves and the setting was incredible. Lush surroundings and beautiful mountains in the background. The maintenance couple came by and started a fire for us at night. We loved Melissa's restaurant across the road--food was surperb and the staff was incredible. We also ate at Melissa's...

I highly recommend Melissa Wasi and would love to return one day. Laid back atmosphere, very friendly and sociable staff and visitors, picturesque surroundings, stunning mountain view from the upstairs yoga room, free wi-fi in the social areas. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and aesthetically rustic. Colourful artisan markets (awesome alpaca woolies) and restaurants 15 min walk away or...

Trust everything they tell you, it is like a perfectly scripted dream. Spend as much time in the sacred valley as possible because as soon as it is over you will wish you were back there. If you are reading this and are on the fence go. Do not hesitate, it is the most relaxing, rejuvinating place I have ever...

Melissa Wasi is the kind of place where you would like to stay more than you expected. When you arrive on the little path leading to the place, you feel already that your choice was a good one. We stayed there in family, and all of us were glad. Beautiful nature, nice garden, authentic houses with wood fire, and, more...
