This cute B&H tucked besides an ancient cobblestone street of town of Ollantaytambo was our base during our Cusco Valley stay. We were so glad that we picked this place. It is hard to describe in words the good vibes we get from staying here. The fresh Andean air, the view from our room, the delicious breakfast and friendly services,...

We so enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Picaflor Tambo. Our host Antonio was simply delightful & most helpful, and we wish him the very best in his endeavors managing this guest house. I highly recommend staying in the junior suite, with the lovely decor, the natural light from the porches, the view of the mountain & sounds of...

You can see some of the ruins from some of the rooms, and Antonio with his partner Jose are friendly, helpul and kind. Thin walls, shower hard to adjust for comfortable temperature, but these fellows work hard. Sometimes noisy neighbors. Arrange to have someone help schlep your bags over the cobblestone streets, as you cannot drive to the door. All...

Big thank you to Antonio who manages the place, & will help you with anything you need. Travelled as a couple. The place is a 3 minute walk to the plaza de armas. Book the suite (best room) for a nice experience. Room has 2 small balconies with a decent view of the mountain. Clean & bathroom is excellent with...

We stayed at the Picaflor Tambo Guesthouse for 4 nights, and we had the whole place to ourselves until the last night. Antonio made us feel right at home and was super helpful when we bombarded him with questions about the area. We stayed in a junior suite upstairs, and that included a little balcony that looked right out onto...

The rooms were small but warm and comfortable, which was important at night for this region! The walls between the rooms were bad so you could catch every converstation from the neighbours, even very late in the night. The breakfast was just average.

We stayed at Picaflor Tambo before our trip to Machu Picchu. Lilian was very helpful in giving us information so we could plan our trip. She helped arrange a taxi from the Cusco airport straight to Ollantaytambo a tour of the sacred valley, and more. We had a couple days in Ollantaytambo, and it was perfect. Many people focus only...

I was travelling with my father and father in law and we got a 3 bed room. The staff were absolutely amazing!!! The free breakfast consisted of bread, fruit, yogurt, eggs, fresh made juice! It was very clean and steps from the plaza which had everything you would need! I would definitely stay here again!

On our way to Machu Picchu we stopped in Ollantaytambo for one night and stayed at this lovely guesthouse (it was recommended to us during our travels). We had a difficult time finding it, as we did not have a local map, nor did we know anything more than "there's a little gully with water going by the front door"....
