Our travel agent booked this hotel in this town simply to catch the train the next day, and I wish we had actually stayed longer. Jose, the host, was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast all locally sourced, including the owner's organic farm. The room we had overlooked the ruins and was a minute to the town square. I want... More

This hotel has everything to make your stay as cool as possible: The staff us great and very helpfull, they changes my reservation for free because i made a mistake on the dates when booking. The hotel is nice. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging taxis and making arrangements for dinner and offering recommendations for the area. They also kept some of our belongings when we went on the inca trail. Very organized! Very nice! The room was clean but the bathroom could have been cleaner. My only complaint - They need to get... Dear Smith, We're glad that our staff have helped you and make your stay at our hostel very nice. We will check the cleaning of the bathrooms more in detail; so it won't happen again. And for the ring bell we're going to change it. You are right it's very noisy. Best Wishes More

Stayed in Hotel Sauce for 3 nights on way to and back from MAPI. B and B rather than hotel. Everything was excellent. You have the option to get products from the farm for breakfast (cheese, yogurt, jams, quinoa breakfast cereals). Roberto Luis the owner was very friendly. Great location to discover Ollantaytambo's market, local people in traditional attire, life... More

My friend and I arrived from Cusco at 8.15pm. The women in charge was knitting on the couch when we arrived and was very reluctant to get up. We checked in and she pointed to the stairs. We were leaving early in the morning so she said she would give us a breakfast box which she would leave on the... More

We stayed for two nights and found this a lovely simple place to stay. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent with homemade and local produce. The only negative was that the shower head could do with being replaced. Staff were delightful and helpful. We would recommend it.

This gem of a hotel combines all the great parts of a bed and breakfast with a high quality hotel, in a magnificent location. It boasts three stars.. but that is crazy. It should easily be four. We arrived late at night and were greeted by a warm and friendly gentleman who check us in. In no time we were... More

I stayed in July, 2016. The hostal was cozy with a fireplace and couches in the common area that were used every night. My room was clean and very comfortable. I had a good night's sleep and a hot shower every morning, A hearty American style breakfast, including eggs cooked to order, was ready at the time that was specified... More

It's called a "hostal", but it's definitely more like a hotel. Rooms were clean and the lobby was spacious and cutely adorned with traditional Peruvian decor. The service was great! This is a wonderful pension! The location is perfect. It is steps from the main square, less than 5 minutes from the ruins and less then 15 minutes from the train station. We stayed in Ollantaytambo for 4 nights and just our luck it was also the same time as the 4 day festival of El Señor Choquakillka. So the... More
