We stayed here twice. once on our way to machu picchu and once on the way back from MP. Its an ok hotel, nothing great about the rooms. pretty basic. We initially had problems with hot water which was fixed once we complained. The staff...More
Hotel rooms near river are beautiful. The triple rooms inside have beds from the 80s....like a hostel. Breakfast food, hot showers and beautiful flowers all around. Take taxi motorcycles worth every penny
Very nice room, balcony with a view across the creek to ruins. Sound of creek is ok once the drapes are closed
Good bathroom and had a great hot shower on the first morning. Second morning unfortunately no hot water to my room.
Sleeping with the sound of running water from the river beside of the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel around 9:30am on our check-in date, and they let us register and leave our bags at reception but told us we would be able to access our rooms at 1pm. We had a tour booked at 10am so this didn't matter too much, but perhaps write to the hotel in advance? They might be able to accommodate if you reach out to let them know you'll be getting in early. Also, plan ~30min to grab your bags and leave Cusco airport, and another 2 hours to reach Ollantaytambo.

The breakfast typically begins at 6:00 am. However, if you have an early departure, they will kindly have a boxed breakfast available for you to take in the road or eat there. However, it will not be a hot breakfast.
