In our visit to Ollantaytambo, our travel agent booked one night in that hotel. The view is beautiful from balconies and the street where the hotel is located is lovely, you can see a clear contrast of Indigenous and Spanish architecture. However, getting inside the hotel, the panorama was different; the hotel is rustic but some parts seemed to have...

I was looking for something cheap & cheerful as on my journey through the sacred valley. Andean moon, is a great budget hotel in the beautiful cobblestone town of ollantaytambo. It was a perfect stopover to visit ollantaytambo & head to aguas calliente the next day. Room was basic & main light didn't work. While clean the blankets did look...

After having spent 5 days either on the road or in a quaint village without utilities, The Andean Moon served as a holy grail for me and my fellow travelers. Although it isnt lavish, the andean moon had comfortable beds, a delicious breakfast, ok wifi (good for peru) and AN AMAZING VIEW. its rooftop was prime for me and my...

Finding the place is a bit difficult, as it's on a side street, running off from the main square, and it's not terribly well-marked. The room was clean, and the shower was adequate, when I was there. No TV, and no wifi in the rooms, but they have a pretty courtyard, with patio furniture to can hang around in. There's...

Clean, for the most part, and comfortable, for the most part, but paper-thin walls mean that you will hear your neighbours do almost everything and they will hear you. Popular with young treckers and groups it can be very noisy but most crash early as it gets dark early, people are tired and there is not much to do. I...

I wished so much for abetter reviewed for this hostel. While the room and hostel was adorable it did lack in a couple areas. I was not able to get the water hot enough for a comfortable shower, sadly to say it was painfully cold. Breakfast was also disappointing, would recommend going elsewhere for breakfast if staying here. Hostel was...

This wasn't a luxurious hostel by any means but the rooms were clean, the views are breath taking and its very peaceful. They also serve breakfast in the mornings. Be sure to get up to the roof and you can watch a pretty amazing sunset.

Nice and quiet place to stay. Close to everything in ollantaytambo and had a great breakfast. Bedrooms and bathrooms weren't luxurious but I had no issue with them. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We enjoyed staying here. It's clean and quiet. The breakfast they include consists of delicious coffee, bread with butter and jam, and an instant, sugary beverage. Not exactly my idea of breakfast. Angel, the kid that runs the place except during the day when he's in school, is an absolute angel. However, Angel gave us permission to use the kitchen...

It was an average hostel. Pros: Easy to find. Hot water. Normal Peruvian breakfast. The room was clean. Cons: really loud. Up hours during the night with the dogs fighting in the streets, as well as early morning (before the sun was up) because we could hear people and someone kept ringing a bell. Our shower leaked and made the...
