The staff was so friendly and very patient with our various questions and problems we had thanks to the train strike. Room was also spacious and comfortable. Hotel itself is very authentic and cool, it has a open air hallway and interior with plants and places to chillax. Location is right next to the main square and in general everything... More

The hotel staff is very nice, very accommodating. The room was a bit small, but comfortable. The cleanliness ok. Considering the remote location, this is a decent economic hotel, it will meet your basic needs while there.

Gringo Bill's has friendly and helpful staff, quirky rooms, and great location. For Agua Calliente I would recommend Gringo Bill's. Housecleaning starts early. Ask for a room on an upper floor. Cable TV with ESPN in bar/lounge/common area.

Very disappointing! Don't believe the pictures. I stayed here as a backpacker 23 years ago and it was great for that. But the pictures made us believe that this hotel had really upped it's game and was more upscale. The rooms can look nice. But the facilities were poor. Nothing worked. No hot water in the morning, no internet, construction... More

Decent hotel in a good location. We found the shower set-up to be problematic (hard to get in and out, lousy shower flow). The room was outdated and sad. Overall hotel layout is nice but service is non-existent (most of the time the front desk appears to be unmanned). Breakfast buffet was decent, overall experience I would say was a... More

We had to change rooms because our first room was filled with Mosquitos. The second room we were given was on the top floor and was better but we still got eaten alive. It's very gloomy and they don't have lights on in common areas during the day (very sustainable but a bit bleak). One of the receptionists was sweet... More

This is a really cool looking hotel. The rooms are clean and there is lots of hot water. I stayed there after a 3N/4D trek on the Inca Trail so it was a relief to have a good bed and clean bathroom. The included breakfast was really good too. My only disappointment was that the hot tub was not filled... More

Excellent in every respect. Large, comfortable room. Great bathroom and shower. Reasonably priced. Great location, off the plaza and close to the bus to Machu Picchu. Helpful, friendly staff. Very good breakfast buffet, served from 5:00 am. Several cool common areas. Great view. Highly recommended.

This hotel really works, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are large, comfortable beds, they have hot running water, a small pool, a storage room for your luggage when you head up to Machu Picchu and is conveniently located in Aguas Calientes.

We did the one day Inca trail hike and this was our overnight lodging. The hotel is clean and friendly. It is very close to the main plaza, so very easy walk to the markets aand restaurants of AC. I would definitely use this hotel again.
