If you find yourself in Lima, stay at the Hilton. The rooms are lovely, the pool is nice, not big but it has a nice view and the breakfasts are out of this world. The service at the hotel is so much better than anything you will experience at a Hilton in America. Both the conceirge, the check in desk and the staff in the dining room make one's stay exceptional. I would also like to call out the service provided by Luis for breakfast. Between the double shot cappucino's and the multiple glasses of fresh orange juice, we were powered up for a day exploring Lima.
The service was nothing short of spectacular. Kind and attentive would be accurate descriptors of the staff. The breakfasts were wonderful and dining in the evening was equally impressive. I found the room to be spacious and comfortable. I loved the close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Taxis were readily available, and there were many short walks to beautiful churches, cathedrals, and shopping.
I would usually begin any review with room/facilities information, but for this occasion I will start with the Staff, in particular Luis and Cristhian who attended to us at breakfast for the 2 days we stayed here. Service was 100% and more. So, so friendly and helpful, totally going that extra mile to ensure we sampled the local specialities and food offerings. Luis would bring us wee samples of hot cheese bread rolls, which were so delicious we requested them on our 2nd day – you should do the same and make sure you sample this, or you are seriously missing out. We were given a beautifully presented plate of local fruits. Every time he would explain exactly what they were and where it came from. Luis would remember our preferences such as how we enjoyed our coffee, which foods were our favourites and made sure I left with a take-out coffee for my trip. This service enhanced what was already a lovely stay. A credit to the dining room. Just for information, this breakfast is not buffet, it is chosen from the menu, which is totally flexible and options can be swapped/substituted. The choices go from fruits, yogurts, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles and French toast, eggs, bacon, breads. All served beautifully. Thank you for this. The hotel itself is already getting high praise, it is very clean, rooms have all the facilities you need such as coffee machine/pods, toiletries, decent size bathroom etc. The location is handy for bars and restaurants. We used the Social Bar on our first night to sample our first Pisco Sour and local beer, both went down extremely well. We did not have food but the plates we saw around us looked very nice. I used the gym, which was perfectly adequate with sufficient pieces of equipment, towels, water, opens 06:00 – always handy to do a workout before the day’s activities. What a perfect start to our 2 weeks S.American tour. And just for the record, this hotel did serve the absolute best breakfast of our entire holiday.…
We stayed at this hotel a few nights ago upon our arrival into Lima after a red eye flight from Atlanta. The hotel is very nice and modern and the guest service was beyond my expectations. Our front desk agent, Veronica, went out of her way several times to make sure we were well taken care of. Since we arrived at the hotel around 7:45 a.m, our room was not ready but she allowed my 2 kids and I to relax in the executive lounge and stretch out and relax while the room was ready. Then when the room was ready, she personally came to the executive lounge to escort us to our room. Our room already had our luggage placed in there and the room was very modern in decor and a very large shower which we were grateful for. The concierge at the desk, Mario, was extremely helpful in suggesting some easy activities for us as well as during our check out process. During checkout, he knew I was handling a lot in order to make my domestic flight to Cusco and needed to eat breakfast so he told me to give him my keys and he would have everything handled by the time we got back from breakfast and he sure did. He loaded our bags for us to in our Citycab. Then there was Jose at the restaurant. My daughter asked for a chocolate croissant which they did not have any. He didnt give up. Jose went into the kitchen and asked them to have chocolate syrup spread across plain croissants and he presented them to us. Also when we were leaving, he knew we were heading to the airport. He chased us down to offer us 3 bottles of water. I'm currently staying at a high end luxury resort in the Cusco area where it's supposedly 6 star service but these folks in addition to the other people we encountered at the Hilton made our first impression of Peru and the Peruvian culture delightful. I'm a hotelier in the US and if these fine people worked at my hotels, I would not need to worry at all. Kudos to the leadership and all staff at this hotel, especially Veronica (front desk), Mario (concierge) and Jose (restaurant).…
Excellent attention! Beautiful, spacious room on executive floor. Servers at breakfast were incredibly attentive especially Jose and Rafael. The female attendant in the Executive Lounge was gracious and happy to assist in anyway. Views from the 11th floor deck and pool were amazing. Great location in Miraflores. You can walk to Larcomar and Parque Kennedy.
It amazes me that a U.S. chain hotel has better service in Latin America than in the U.S. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. My partner went to work everyday, and I worked from the hotel. Almost every day the room attendant, Clot, provided outstanding service. He made sure everything in my room and the services at the hotel were to my liking. I could tell he genuinely cared for me as a guest. I have never had that level of service from an attendant. He made the difference from a good stay to a great stay.
Loved my stay at the Hilton in Miraflores especially breakfast. Great variaty of food and perfect Service by our waiter Armando. We got amazing Smoothie and Camu Camu drink as well as complementary Sweet Dessert. Thank you!
Spend a night in the Hilton Hotel and had a really good experience. The service was just great. Especially the breakfast. Our waiter Armando served us local fruits and juices we would have never tasted without him recommending. I will definitely come here again.
We visited for three nights during my daughter’s National Championship in Rock climbing; with the warm care, excellent hospitality — and plate of enthusiastic, colorful encouragement for a successful competition — the team for the Sacred Valley of Cusco should come away with high spirits! And my daughter a winner as always! Thank you Cristian, Jose, Carlos and creative chef Jose Penafiel!! We will come back everytime to celebrate a successful and memorable competition and visit to Lima. The accommodations and hotel in general are very modern, pool is warm even for cold evenings. Jacuzzi is fantastic with city and ocean views. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff is the best! I was happily surprised for their warm service being a large international hotel. Nicely representative of the warm culture that Peru has where we reside in the Cusco valley area. Thank you!!…
I stayed at the Hilton Lima Miaflores in May 2022. Overall it was an extremely positive experience. Clean and modern rooms ( in room espresso machine). Enjoyed a breakfast and dinner at the hotels restaurant - both service and food were great. The front desk staff and concierge were attentive and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to friends.
