Stayed two different nights in two different rooms in this hostal. The large rooms are well worth the extra money. We paid about $60 dollars for one of the larger second floor rooms. The hostal has a convenient Miraflores location and a charming courtyard with comfortable common areas. Their airport pick-up and drop-off service was punctual and friendly. The staff...

We have spent some nights in hotel and remained are very happy. The sympathetic personnel, a remarkable site, a cozy court yard, a lot of flowers..... It was very pleasant to have a rest here after long walks on a city.

We booked El Patio after reading the review in Lonely Planet. The neighborhood and interior courtyard met our expectations though I was a bit disappointed with our room (Standard Matrimonial Plus) which I can only describe as drab. However, after having recently completed the Inca Trail, the matrimonial bed, TV, wifi and mini kitchenette were very welcome amenities! Overall the...

This is a small hostel, conveniently located in the Miraflores area of Lima. The rooms are clean, simply furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Fantastic cafe con leche. Staff helpful Loved the courtyard area. Especially enjoyed the caged birds singing in the morning. They were right outside our room. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at El Patio are exceptionally helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfasts are excellent. The property has a convenient location in the up-market suburb of Miraflores. Some rooms are more attractively decorated than others but all offer value for money.

We spent a few days in el Patio at the beginning of Dec 2010 and were really pleased. Staff is very nice and so helpful: they helped us with many services: ordering of bus tickets, arrangement for a driver, "in-house" money exchange. The place is basic but charming and cleaned regularly; it includes common spaces, small terraces and a beautiful...

This hostal provides good value in a great location in Miraflores. Make sure you have them arrange for a car and driver to pick-up at the airport. Its makes your arrival in Lima so much easier and less of a hassle. The hostal isn't glamorous but significantly charming with its colors and flowers. The rooms are worn but very clean....

I stayed here with a friend in November 2010. We actually stayed here twice when we were in Lima. Both rooms that we had were nice and the location of the hotel was very convenient. Lots of restaurants, including Astrid & Gaston, were nearby. It also only took maybe 15-20 minutes to walk to Larcomar shopping center. Through the hotel...
