since we arrived at 3 am from airport , Karina and Pablo were amazing... Plus all the hotel staff , room was spotless, clean and nice. Housekeeper great everything shine. The breakfast was not good, probably the variety and missing an omelete station. The bar with their huge selections of piscos and snacks... out of this world.....service a+
The breakfast and the rooms and the drive and the prices were all right on point. I’m very excited to learn they have hotels all pays off the world I want to visit! Not sure what else to say. The rooms were immaculate and in very good shape. The service was impeccable. Will stay again!
This may not be the swankiest hotel in Lima, but it's very solid and hits 100% in all areas that really matter - newly renovated rooms, comfortable beds, good tv, fast internet and hot showers. The road facing rooms can be a bit noisy, but the road quiets down at night. However, the strongest asset of this hotel are its staff, who were all friendly and competent. Grover and Vanessa were especially helpful! In sum, this was a great hotel, solid value, with exceptional staff!
Staying at Melia this past weekend was a great experience for me and my family! We enjoyed very much our stay at Melia, feeling “at home away from home”. All staff was very helpful and friendly, specially Catherine. Will definitely come back.
Want to let everyone know that my family has had an excellent service here. The breakfast buffet and dinner service has been amazing and tasty as well. A special thank you to Juan Calros, Eliana, Fabrizio, and Leonardo.
I’ve been in my room 5 minutes and it’s amazing value for money! So far…staff helpful and more than what I thought I’d be getting for the money spent. Jacuzzi in the room, free breakfast so let’s hope the dream keeps going for the next days that I’m here.
I came back with my family to the Hotel Melia Lima for a 10-day stay after a break of a couple of years due to the pandemic. I had good memories of this hotel from a previous stay just before the Covid outbreak, so I would have expected some reduction in the level of services provided. In fact my fears were exaggerated. A part of the closure of the Executive Lounge - which I had enjoyed before the pandemic - the level of service was top notch. And the rooms were well appointed and equipped with very comfy beds (no coffee maker, though). Room service was quick and efficient, as it was the laudry service. I should express my appreciation for the lovely front desk ladies Ingrid - who checked us in - and Vanessa - who checked us out. We met Karina less frequently, but she was equally efficient and dependable. They gladly arranged transport services for us throughout our stay and always welcomed us with a smile. Thank you! Similarly kind and efficient was the Bell Captain Luis. All this said, I would like to make two constructive suggestions 1. The hotel should consider reducing the cost of the laundry service. The service is impeccable, but you have to part with PEN 25 (approximately US$ 7.00) if you want to wash and iron your shirt, which is extremely expensive for Lima standards; 2. The safes in hotel rooms have an unusual and cumbersome lock mechanism, which I was unable to use in spite of many attempts. I always travel with minumum cash on hand and even less valuables, but it is still nice to have a safe place for your passports and your wallet. Please use a simple 4 to 6 digits code instead of asking guests to insert their roomcard in the lock mechanism, only not to be able to complete the procedure.…
The hotel is beautiful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Grover and Vanessa were able to speak to us in English and they were super helpful. They exchanged money for us and got us a taxi. We were treated like royalty. I would highly recommend staying here.
I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Upon arrival I was requested to wait 40 minutes before being given a room only to have the room changed 40 minutes later for a leak. The next morning the man hassled me for a new credit card to put another hold on. It was ridiculous because I had already paid through Expedia which they could see in their computer system. We were in a hurry so I called Expedia and they explained to him that it wasn’t necessary. He continued to be rude and ushered us into the parking garage to catch our taxi. I would like to use this hotel again because it is nice with a clean gym but the desk man was the worst in Lima.
Awesome Hotel with great location ! This is one of the finest hotel in Lima. Rooms were spacious and cleanliness and hygiene was superb!! Food was super delicious and since I am vegetarian, chef did its best to serve the most delicious stuff in vegetarian. Staff members at Hotel restaurant was highly helpful especially “Vanessa” who understood the right dish and presented exactly what I wanted. Hotel premises and ambience was soothing, clean and hygienic. Being in middle of town, it easy to go around city. Highly recommended of you plan a stay in Melia Lima if you are visiting Lima for official or leisure tour .
