All hostels have pros and cons. The Pros. Friendly staff and an outgoing helpful owner. Clean well equipped kitchen. Thick fluffy towels changed daily. The room was serviced everyday. The beds were comfortable. Decent bedding. Secure. TVs in the room. The Cons. No air conditioning. Hot stuffy dark dreary rooms. Dark hallways. A basic breakfast that consisted of ham and...

The location is very convenient. If the room is available they will give it to you right away or let you rest in somewhere in the mean time ( great if you arrive early) . The owner if super friendly, he spends a good hour or two explaining you all the attractions and food, "you will love it" Wifi works...

Good little place to stay, more than adequate facilities and close to ATMs and places to eat if you are in a hurry. Best part is the owner and his staff, extremely friendly and very helpful. His advice on taxi green helped with transport from the airport to the hostel, no hassles as the pace is known to the company....

The place is worth exploring itself - living room and the other corners with lots of old artefacts hanging. Service was excellent - the ladies would go way out , always with a smile to help us with restaurant bookings, transfers and other requests. You would need to select a room with windows, as those without look really dark and...

If you are traveling in lima for the first time, this is. Wonderful place to stay. The owner is extremely helpful and nice, he will help you to make sure you do not get ripped off by a taxi or other locals. All the people who work at the house are great, lovely to talk to and helpful as well....

This place is pretty typical for what you can expect out of a South American hostel. The Good: The best part about this place is the friendly owner. He was extremely welcoming and knew me by first name whenever I walked in the door (without me introducing myself). He takes the time to sit down with each guest and explain...

We stayed a couple of nights here and it was fine and we had hot water and the rooms were clean. It is very secure and right in central Miraflores with short walks to restaurants, banks etc. The one thing we did not like was the stale smell of the rooms when you first enter your room. This is not...

We stayed here for 2 nights while in Lima and had a great experience! The staff was very nice and helpful and we thought the hostal was cool and unique. We will stay there again on our way back through Lima. I would recommend it.

We stayed here for three nights in a huge double room with private bathroom and had no complaints about our stay. The area is nice and safe, showers were hot and breakfast was fine (ham and cheese rolls - but if you don't want that, there is also a kitchen for guests to use). But what makes this place, as...

Pros - Friendly and helpful host - Alright breakfast - Hot shower and good pressure Cons - Overpriced (140S/.) for a basic bunk bed room with awkward layout and no bin - 3 windows (2 leading to corridor with slightly see through curtains and 1 to a random room) - Not so good location (far from metropolitan station and Miraflores...
