A lovely stay here for the last 4 nights in Iquitos. Very friendly staff, immaculately clean (although the towels were a bit shabby). Good air con. Great location, a few minutes walk to the view of the Amazon, and plaza de armas. Comfortable beds!

Super location, central to everything. Great service. Totally reasonable price (90sols) for a very clean room with air and WiFi. Laundromat just down the street. Close to the river and central plaza. Small coffee shop right in the hotel.

If you are looking for a well located place to stay for one night or two, as well as good price, then this hostel is a great choice. I stayed here for one night and it was okay. My room had a very noisy fan, my shower was cold and they gave me a very - VERY- small towel. Apart...

As the hostel is only one block away from the Plaza de Armas it is a great place to stage your stay in Iquitos. The beds are decent, the rooms a little warm. The WiFi is slow and the showers are cold (but hey, you´re in the jungle and it is HOT). The service at the reception is excellent (and...

I stayed there just one night. You hear the bikes all night long. The pillow was horrible smelly old moisture. I was afraid of using it so I did not. The reception girl didn't get you a lot of attention. Not even a map to get. The cleaners are doing good job.

We stayed there for several days. The room with AC was basic but clean, AC worked OK, had TV with several channels in English, hot shower available but you need to wait for several minutes for the hot water to come when you turn it on. The location is good. The staff was helpful. And the hotel is safe -...

Our stay at Colibri Hostal was worth it! Excellent location, close to the city centre and main restaurants. Rooms and all the hotel areas are very clean, I could see the staff cleaning at least three times a day, it is quiet at night, so you can have a good rest. The staff is quiet pleasant and friendly. Also great...

My wife and I have stayed at El Colibri several times. Nothing fancy, but clean, secure and well located 1 block from the Plaza de Armas and one block to the pedestrian only Boardwalk river view and good restaurants...at $20 is a good value.

Pleasant and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and actual hot water (though you have to let the staff know 10 minutes ahead of taking a shower, which makes morning or late-night showers more difficult). We had a great stay, and would definitely return when in Iquitos. Only drawbacks: you can't cook in the kitchen, and there isn't a proper...

This hostal is in an incredibly great location. It is right near the river, right near Dawn on the Amazon (a great restaurant to eat at by the way), and right near the main plaza. The staff are very friendly but unfortunately do not know much about tours in the area.** The value of the hotel is quite good. We...
