We stayed in Nativa Apartments for one night on our way back from Amazon Vacations. After a few nights in the Amazon, this is a welcome respite. The first thing which strikes you is the cool air from the AC in hot Peru. After a hot shower which is very clean, you settle down with a wifi which actually works....

Has everything you want for a little retreat from the bustling streets, humid air and mosquitos of Iquitos. Lovely staff who help with tours, transfers and even support the local wildlife (adopting stray dogs and kittens). Air conditioner gets the room nice and cool, the shower is the hottest and had the best PRESSURE of any we've had during our...

An amazing place to stay! We stayed here prior to our jungle trip, and it was fantastic. Vey clean, large apartment with kitchen, living room, bathroom (hot water!), and bedroom - extremely comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to plaza along with a few large and delicious restaurants that were open late. The employees make sure that you know where you're...

This is a gem of a place. The location is great, the rooms are meticulously kept, and the air conditioner is extremely effective. Monica, the owner/manager is so helpful and gracious. She even allowed us to stay hours past our check-out time so my sick friend could rest before the long flight home to Regina. HIGHLY recommended. P.S. Animal lovers...

My friend and I spent a few nights here in February and cannot say enough about it - wonderful staff, clean, beautiful. The rooms had kitchen equipment. I really recommend this apartment hotel. It is close to the Malecon, lots of restaurants, the museum, and the market. The staff will help you find your way around

This is my third time in Iquitos. I've stayed in Nativa every time. I travel a lot in South America and I've yet to find a place that I've enjoyed more. It is beautiful, clean, great location and great service. There is hot water, and wifi networks on every floor. I love it. I will definitely be back

Monica who runs Nativa is the epitome of a perfect host. She had a driver waiting at the airport for me when I arrived and had already negotiated a more than fare rate so all I had to do after a very long journey was hop in the cab and off I went. Then subsequently every time I left the...

Can't say enough great things. Great location, three blocks from everything. Monica and all of the staff are above and beyond warm and kind. The place has character and heart. Is very secure and exceptionally clean. Great for long or short term stays as has kitchenettes in each room.Head's up- small sign out front not super noticeable upon initial arrival-...

I was actually there April 2014. This place was unreal! The room was huge. The owner went above and beyond for us. She set up our tours and even took us around herself. We were there for Easter, so she took us out and showed us Iquitos from a native's perspective.

Highly recommended as a great base to begin and end Amazon adventures, Nativa attracts an eclectic and interesting array of travellers. Monica, the friendly and helpful owner, can assist you with all things 'Iquitos' and even organize last-minute excursions. Nativa is an easy walk or tuk-tuk ride to anywhere you want to be. Simple, comfortable rooms with good A/C, though...
