This hotel is very well located, 3 minutes to the main square and 5 minutes to the view of the water and many restaurants. It is simple, clean and Jaime the owner, who speaks perfect English is incredibly hospitable. As I said in the title it was well, worth the price!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Central Bed and Breakfast for 3 nights after being in the jungle for three weeks. The owner Jaime went above and beyond to take care of us. He is a really nice person and provided us with the best hospitality. One morning I couldn’t eat eggs and I asked for bread only. When he brought my food out from the kitchen he told me that he could not let me starve and he had prepared all freshly cooked vegetables in place of the eggs. That meant a lot and it is the thoughtful gestures like this that make Central Bed & Breakfast a great option if you are in Iquitos. The room we stayed in was very clean and modern with cold AC and everything working properly. This stay was just what we needed after being in the jungle under more primitive conditions. Thanks so much to Jaime and the staff at Central Bed & Breakfast. When I return to Iquitos I will definitely stay at Jaime’s place.

This place is truly well-located right in the city centre, just a 5-minute walk from the malecón Tarapaca or the main square. There are many restaurants and laundrettes as well as shops and agencies around. You always get a moto taxi right when walking out the hotel door. The hotel offers perfect comfort as there is AC, hot water in all the taps and the breakfasts are delicious with hot bread and eggs made the way you want them. The coffee is heavenly. The value for money is optimal. And the staff is very kind and helpful.

We only had one day in Iquitos and wanted to make the most of it. Central Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful modern haven in the midst of a congested chaotic city. It is only 2 blocks from the restaurants and clubs on the banks of the Amazon, but the great location was not the best feature of the hotel. It was the owner, Jaime Acevedo, who made our stay memorable -- He has lived in Europe and the United states, and it shows in his decor of the lobby and comfort of the rooms. He went the extra mile to make sure we had a wonderful stay. He hailed a motocar (tuk-tuk) got a good price for us, and sent us to a money changer he knew was honest, then on to the marina to get a boat for the Pilpintuwasi Reseve. We decided to visit Belen Market before returning to the hotel, and Jaime ran out to meet us -- he was worried we had gotten lost! He helped us plan our trip early the next morning to the airport, and got up to make us breakfast at 5AM! Jaime is absolutely the sweetest, kindest individual! It is rare to come across such hospitality.

We only stayed 1 night before our amazon tour but it was perfect! A modern, spotless and quiet room. One of the best breakfasts of our trip and the owner and staff genuinely went out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The owner has lived in the US so speaks perfect English and you can see that he loves what he does, well done!
