Modest lodge with friendly and efficient staff. Geyner and Gedeon formed a perfect team guiding us through the jungle. Geyner's english was perfect and he took care of everybody. The lodge could have more seating places on the deck, and could make use of thatched roof instead of sheet metal one.
I just got Back from 6 days in the amazon. What a life changing expierence. Within my first night... Monkeys on my boat... The most amazing sunset ive ever seen in my life.. Pink dolphins, black dolphins, gray dolphins in the River.... Illuminesent mud, thousands of fire flies.. I was in a mágical wonder land. This continúes for 6 days. The best guides ever. My guide was Wilson. All the guides are amazing. Staff was amazing. I give my full appreciation to everyone there. Instagram @dominicksantariga for pictures and if you like to message me to reccomend, if im in WiFi ill answer.
Starting with a positive note, our guide throughout our visit was excellent with a very good knowledge of English. He explained everything very well and could not have been more helpful. He made our experience SUCCESS However, we were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the lodge itself and what was provided for the money spent. Apart from 3 beds, the room had no furniture whatsoever. Towels were only provided on request. No electricity after 21.00 hrs. The meals were only adequate, with no choice of menu, no laid tables and no starters. Only instant coffee and no cool drinks available foc. (even ran our of coca cola). Although knowingly basic the furniture on the balcony and in dining area should be plentiful and not in need of repair or replacement. TLC is required all around!!!…
On the strong plus side, we had a great guide (Ruber) supported by Pedro who gave us and another couple a packed experience both walking in the jungle close to the Lodge and on water in a motor canoe in a variety of rivers nearby including the Ucakali. We were on a 4d/3n trip and it was intensive from 6AM to 6PM or 9AM to 6PM each day with suitable rest periods as required. Ruber was excellent in terms of very deep first hand knowledge and first class English; we had great confidence following him. His knowledge meant we saw snakes, scorpions, monkeys, many birds, sloths, and other wildlife we would have missed. On the other side, the accommodation is pretty basic but I must say the mosquito nets worked well, and my wife and I generally slept well. Food was basic but filling. The experience would benefit from a few more comfortable seats as it was definitely at times low comfort both on boats and on land. The property is a mature site and it could be made more comfortable without sacrificing its lost-in-nature feel at relatively low cost. Apart from back-up lighting (allows battery recharging) on between 6 and 9PM it definitely has a jungle feel. Based on our experience, my takeaway thought is there seems to be a wide variety of options for overnight stays in the area; some more ‘authentic’, some more ‘comfortable’. My advice would be to review very closely what you want as my impression is this is a good option for an ‘authentic’ experience, low on creature comforts, but will provide an interesting experience. We are pleased we did it but it could have been more comfortable.…
Our guide was Richardo, and he provided very cool 3 days of adventure for us. Everythink promised was included in the trip and we as a family of 5 had all the time 2 guys looking after us. We spent one night in the lodge and the other camping in hammock outdooors. We were fishing and catching crocodiles. We had a few walks through the jungle in the day and night. We also spend a lot of time on the boat, seeing monkies, birds and differente kinds of animals in the wild. I would definately recomend this agency to anyone who wants to have a real adenture in the Amazon!
