This place is great. The staff are so helpful and quite a bit of English is spoken. Rooms look quite traditional to me, which is a bonus and breakfasts are continental style. It is walking distance, even at 3400 metres, to the City Square, which should be your first port of call in Cusco. Finally, the hotel will allow one... More

Stayed here before and after the inca trail and loved it. Best hot shower pressure I've had in weeks, wifi was great, rooms were spotless and comfy. Has two little courtyards that are great to chill out and have a tea in. Breaky is simple but good. Would recommend and also stay here again

Location of the hotel is almost in the center and close to the monastry and walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. Hotel staff are so helpful and nice. The room in first day was in the garden area and too cold but they changed the room 2nd day which is warmer. But no soap and no shampoo in the... More

This cozy and charming hotel is close to town, the room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is basic with egg, bread that gets you ready for the day. The hotel provides us storage place for our luggage while we take side trip to Sacred Valley and during our trekking to MP. I would highly recommend this place.

Stayed as part of Explore trek. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was adequate, being fruit, rolls, eggs (fried or scrambled) as well as tea, coffee and fruit juice, more than to start the day. No issues with the room (114),comfortable beds and plenty of hot water.Location is about 10min walk from cathedral square. Hardly high end, but perfectly comfortable as... More

Rooms are sober but well maintained. Beds are rather small however. Breakfast is good. Friendly and helpfull staff. Well located in about 15 minuten walk from plaza de armas. Good choice when visiting Cusco.

Probably the best hostal during my stay in Perù. About 5-10 minutes walking to Plaza de Armas, it is an extremely nice and cured place. Pleasant staff and very nice interiors. The rooms are big and very comfortable (and is the only hostal I found which provides a hairdryer).

I was planning to stay 3 nights here but I am checking out as soon as I finish this review. The place is shabby and run down; the rooms are rustic at best, 15 mn of hot water at most, the breakfast is terrible: instead of butter, they serve danish margarine!! the bread is horrible! There is plenty of photoshopping... More

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are spacious with good lighting. If you get cold at night they provide space heaters which can be a plus at 11,000 ft (3400m). The shower took a bit longer than expected to get hot, but once it got going it was super hot and wonderful. Took about 5 min to warm up.... More

Excellent service from the front desk. They were so helpful! My room had a comfortable bed and overall it was an adorable hotel. Couldn't have asked for more. The breakfast was delicious and probably the best free hotel breakfast I have had in Peru.
