Amaru II Hostel is quite cute. The room was really spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a very nice city view. Its localization is also good, walking distance from Plaza de Armas. However, the breakfast could be (much) better. I left the restaurant hungry.

The staff at Amaru II was so helpful, friendly and courteous. They bent over backwards to help in getting bus reservations and tickets and gave us much information about attractions in the area. The breakfast was the best we had in Peru- eggs, wonderful fresh warm bread, fresh fruit with or without yogurt, freshly squeezed juice and coffee and tea....

My wife, two kids, and I spent two nights at Amaru II and we liked the place immediately! The San Blas neighborhood is a terrific place from which to see the city-- close to the Plaza, restaurants, museums, and Qorikancha. We had a quadruple room, overlooking the lovely courtyard, and it was clean, light-filled, and beautiful. With so much glass,...

I was very excited to stay at this location during our trip to Cusco, but our experience did not live up to the expectations we had based on the other Trip Advisor reviews. The common areas of the hostal are beautiful and match the lovely pictures posted on their website. However, our room was not what we were expecting. It...

A pretty smaller B&B on a Cusco hillside in the artistic section of San Blas with beautiful views. Originally an hacienda, the building gleams with vast wooden detail that added charm. The inner courtyard was filled with flowers and hummingbirds. Staff were friendly, personable and went out of their way to be helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfasts...

This hostal (really more of a B and B) is centrally located, clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and they have everything you could possibly need including hair dryers, internet, breakfast etc. It is a great bargain.

The colonial layout and pleasant atmosphere created a nice relaxing place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city outside. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good, including eggs and fresh juice. The rooms are big, but they are clean and nice with high ceilings. Great views of the city out the windows.

Based on the standards of Peru/Cusco, this hostel was a great base to explore the sacred valley. Our group of 10 stayed 3 days ahead of/ 2 days after Inca trail hike. Staff was very accommodating. Grounds were beautifully maintained. Nice (comp) breakfast. Rooms were inconsistent: some rooms had instant hot water (#206) others never did after 15 min (3xx)....

Was pleasantly surprised by the location, service and cleanliness of this hostel. Also recovered complimentary airport transfer which was great as we were bombarded with taxi drivers trying to sell us rides for ridiculous amounts. Never pay more than $10usd for a airport transfer if you can help it as taxis are very cheap in Cuzco. Lots of lovely restaurants...
