I would definitively recommend this place when staying in Aguas Calientes. It is very central, close to market, main square, pubs, restaurants, bus and train station. The place is very spartan and austere - no decorations or details; but clean! We asked for a double room and we got a three beds one with windows: cleaned room, large and confortable...

After a week of cold showers in Cusco, hot showers at this price of hostel were very, very welcome. The pillows were so fluffy, too, and that was a change from flat, small pillows in Cusco. The train is very loud at night, but I think that's par for the course in Aguascalientes. We were met at the train station...

As our 10:45 p.m. train arrived a member of the staff was waiting for us with our parties name on a dry-erase board. This was a delicate touch I was not expecting from one of the least expensive hotels in Aguas Calientes. The woman at the front desk was also extremely helpful with MachuPicchu advice. While the early morning train...

This is one of the cheapest places in town, and the amenities are commensurate. However, the place is generally clean and the service is good. I'd stay here again. (I'm not so sure that my wife would join me, however.)

Nicely located hotel, close to the main square, ATMs, restaurants and convenience stores. Very good if you plan to do early morning hiking to Machu Picchu to admire sunrise. Rooms small but very clean, neat and quiet. Hot shower available all day. From the little balcony we were able to admire surrounding mountains and train leaving and coming into the...

For a very reasonable price unlike in the rest of Aguas Calientes you get a clean and decent room with private bathroom and hot water (which is often questionable in the budget hotels in Peru). It is located next to the local train station (not the main one), but the trains are so rare that you hardly get disturbed. Hotel...

Great price room was clean, the owner even went to pick us up from the train station, very friendly. We got a room in the back with private bathroom. Was the best price we could find for a place like this in aguas calientes which tends to be an expensive town by peruvian standards.

In comparison to the other possibilities in Aguas Calientes, from far the most price-reasonable. The rooms are clean and much nicer in comparison to many in the same price range all over Peru. The people where very nice and helpful. One evening I forgot my camera in one of the internet cafes in Aguas Calientes. The next morning when I...

The dingy walls of your room will melt away as you close your eyes and fill your lungs with the heady aroma of mold. How exciting to think that some of those Andean spores may actually be descendants of the ones that covered the walls of Mr. Bingham's canvas tent back in 1911. Even with your eyes open you'll marvel...

I stayed there with my husband for one night, to go to Machu Picchu the next day. It's close to the train station, rooms are rather basic but if you don't bother the slashed insects on the walls it is a decent hostel. It has also hot water and you can leave your luggage there (we did this and take...
