We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on route to a mountain biking trip in the Andes. The staff was polite and friendly. Rooms were clean. On the downside, the place was freezing. Each room had a small electric heater which helped and 100 lbs per sq ft of blankets! The included breakfast was very mediocre. Cold toast (they... More

Stayed here a few nights during a recent mountain bike trip in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The hotel is located close to the Plaza di Armas and the main tourist area. They were very accommodating with our bike storage in their garage. The wifi worked well and the showers were always steaming hot!

Good: Great location to Plaza de Armas and a handful of great restaurants. Clean rooms with hot showers! And good water pressure in the shower. Bad: Unhelpful and often rude staff. The rooms can be very cold at night. And the breakfast was just ok. Bad wifi that only works in the lobby, if it works at all (common in... More

We were part of a tour group, so glad no choice in staying at this hotel. Having said that, the location is good and we got a heater to jeep our room warm. Wifi is (mostly) good, depending on where you are standing. We had breakfast included, which wasn't great (all base level hotels seem to fifer the same mix... More

Hotel is few blocks away from Plaza de Armas, not towards the best part of the town. Hotel is basic but clean. It is in an old thick stone-walled building, that gives you feeling of coldness and gloominess.. Staff is friendly except a young guy who was in charge of the reception at night - surly and not hospitable. Street-looking rooms... More

I have mixed thoughts about this hotel. The location is reasonable as it is walking distance to the main square with only a slight gradient. We stayed there in May and the hotel was very cold. Breakfast was not included and was not good value for money - I recommend going down the street to the bakery.

I have travelled to Cusco many times - around 10 times in the last year. I have always stayed at the Cahuide - it is great value, the rooms are clean, it is secure, close to the centre of town, and the staff are fantastic. I would always go back!

The hotel is located about a 5 min walk from Plaza del Armas. The rooms are good, big enough and there is hot water in the shower and good water pressure. The only thing was that the hotel is really quite cold, colder than the temperature outside and the heaters never worked even though we changed them 3 times. The... More

The hotel is quite well located, about 5 mn walk from the main square. The girls at the desk are very good. I like the size of the rooms. The shower are powerful and very hot, which helps when it's really cold in the winter. The breakfast could do with better bread. I think it's good value for money.

This hotel is great if you just want a standard, reasonably priced place to stay whilst in Cusco. It is centrally located and gives you access to the many different activities available. If you are visiting Cusco all you need is a place to put your head down, there's so much to do it'd be a waste to sit in... More
