My daughter and I spent 6 days at the Monastery and loved every moment. Walking the corridors around the cloister garden, you can imagine the hooded monks walking silently to and fro. Being a former monastery, the hotel has its own attached chapel which is open to guests at all times -even when the street door is barred. Unlike other...

This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. It was hands down the most exquisite place I've ever stayed. Ruth gave us especially great service - she was the best! We will definitely stay here again when we're in Cusco.

When you arrive at hotel Monasterio you are immediately transported to the past. It used to be a monastery and you can still sense it in every single room. Service is impeccable. Cuisine is amongst the best you will find in Cuzco. If you have an early tour, they will prepare lunch boxes for you to take. The rooms are...

Very nice hotel staff! The thing people need to understand about Cusco is it is third world and run down . Most buildings are old and not well maintained. There are beggars on the streets but harmless...this is the nicest hotel in Cuzco , great good, great service but rooms are a little small and it is pricey. The staff...

I spent three days in Cusco with my family and we stayed at the Belmond Hotel Monasterio. Famous for its superb service and beautiful setting, it proved to be better than expected. The rooms are perfect. They used to be the cells inhabited by Jesuit monks who lived in the Monastery in colonial times. Our room was perfect. You might...

I splurged on this room and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it. I have never stayed in a prettier hotel. Just lovely and the staff was super helpful. The food was great too! It used to be a monastery and has a gorgeous chapel in the hotel.

I spent Christmas Day and Christmas Eve in this hotel, housed in 17th c monastery. It is beautifully rehabilitated, with antique furniture and art throughout. Lovely courtyards abound and the former monks receiving room is a well stocked bar. We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner and prior to that, mass was held in the original chapel. You can't go...

I thought I would be disappointed that there was no treadmill, as I am an avid runner, however, at this altitude, walking the town of Cusco was a challenge in itself! What a beautiful spot, wonderful food and elegant, yet, not at all stuffy hotel accommodations!

We stayed here the first time in 2006, and really loved it, and when we came back this year with our kids, we didn't want to over-hype it, though we did. Luckily, we didn't have to worry, because as amazing as it was in '06, the staff at Monestario has upped their game, and it is even better. All of...

Visited a few years ago. What a joy. Staying at this property was a highlight of our trip. Barnaby was out butler, he was outstanding. Property, luxurious, and grand feeling without being pretentious or stuffy. Our room was great, big space and all necessary amenities are provided. We enjoyed multiple, great, yummy breakfast during our stay. Book it and relax.
