The JW Marriott El Convento Cusco deserves all the accolades and praises everyone here is giving them! The hotel is absolutely beautiful mixing modern elements with beautiful Peruvian historical structures. I booked a 3 night stay that was memorable from the first foot I placed in the hotel. We were greeted by an awesome host Jackson who was super passionate...

From check in to check out, my brother and I received top notch service. Once knowing our itinerary of hiking Machu Picchu, the lovely ladies Milagros and Dushka had a bag of goodies placed in our room with waters, chocolate and traditional Peruvian hats for the hike! We were also in Peru to celebrate my brother's birthday. Upon returning from...

The hotel is so beautiful! I feel like we are at home. I had some altitude sickness upon arrival and the staff quickly sent Milagro (the EMT) for oxygen. Throughout the night Angel was there to keep me comfortable with more oxygen! By the morning time, I was ready to conquer the city, which is so warming and welcoming. The...

The hotel is extremely well located, very close to the Plaza de Armas. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, my special thanks to Alvaro and Jesus. The rooms are big and clean, and the bathroom is one of the best I've ever seen. Breakfast is perfect! The only reason I'm giving the hotel 4 stars is due to the...

The JW Marriott El Convento Cusco provides a wonderful respite for the tired traveler. We spent two nights there during our adventure to Machu Pichu, The Sacred Valley and Cusco and couldn't have been more pleased. The room was large, very comfortable and extremely clean. Our room was also quiet so we enjoyed restful nights. All staff members with whom...

Great staff, polite, professional. Diana, Jesus and Sandra made breakfast at the buffet at Pirqa so very enjoyable every morning, and the desk staff and all the staff were always polite and greeted us. The room was clean, the air conditioning wasn't functioning when we arrived but it was quickly fixed after notifying the front desk. Nice spa. The historical...

Typical of JW Marriotts, this is a beautiful property. The rooms include robes, nice amenities, coffee, safe, etc. While cab from the airport was not free, they did help us arrange transportation with a great driver at a reasonable price. The resort fee included internet and one of the best breakfast buffets I've had in a while! The reason I...

We have stayed at this hotel before going up to the Machu Picchu. Upon arriving with the pills for the high altitude. This hotel is near the city center, few blocks away. This hotel converted the convent to the hotel. We have chose the room with Inca wall. So, we didn't have the view of the city, but being able...

Situated in the heart of Cusco, near its main square, the hotel is an ideal starting point to explore Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu. It used to be a monastery, nowadays it's a premium hotel with very friendly and helpful stuff and comfortable rooms. Try it. The Valley and Machu Picchu are pretty far away but coming back to this...

This Marriott property is truly a jewel. They spent over 3 years renovating this property. Inca ruins are in the basement. The courtyard is stunning. The lobby bar is always busy and a fun place to enjoy people watching. The occupancy rate here is extremely high so book early...The free daily tour of the property...lead by a monk...starts at 6pm....
