Casa Campesina is located in a colonial building not far from the city centre. Nice patios and big rooms with nice wooden windows. Breakfast is ok but not abundant. The shop inside sells fair-trade artisanal clothing for reasonable prices. Definitly worth a visit.

My sister and I decided to stay here for a night as she had been here before. 80 soles for one night with a double bed with no bathroom-a little expensive compared to places with same accommodations. Overall fairly clean, a little chilly in our room at night, but it was okay not great.

I had previously stated here a few years back with a large group and I thought we should check it out again, so we booked a night. We had no problems and I would say it's a good place to stay, but nothing exceptional - which you might expect for the cheaper price. Our double room was spacious, but cold...

In recent years la Casa Campesina has been upgraded in its installations, and it is conveniently located (at the corner of Ruinas and less than 10 minutes to the Main Square of Cusco). Casa Campesina was established by an NGO Centro Bartolomé de las Casas years ago and it has kept this non-commercial style. There are several patios in this...

Our first room was right on the street and was way too noisy when trying to sleep in the evening. The second room was ice cold because there was a huge gap between the ground and the door. The heater wasn't enough to warm the room. And every time after we came back from the city the heater was turned...

Even after requesting to have our room clean, 6 out of group the ended up in the hospital. Also they wouldn't answer the phone when we tried calling and they wouldn't give us messages from other in our...

I have stayed multiple nights here traveling with a large group of students. The courtyards are large and offer plenty of space to hang out. Whole rows of showers and toilets are available for those staying in dorm style rooms. The staff were all very friendly!

I stayed at this hotel by chance. I arrived very late to Cusco, and although I had a reservation in another hotel, they did not have a room for me. They sent me to this hotel, and I was impressed by it. It is a local hotel that has two nice patios, and rooms are comfortable. There is a fair-trade...

I stayed there with family but have also brought students there for a decade. Much more flavor than most of the standard Cuzco hotels and great location. The food is quite good and the staff very friendly. Don't miss the weaving shop and ask them for travel questions.

I stayed 3 nights at Casa Campesina in Cusco in a double room with private bathroom, and was very happy with the location (smack-dab in the middle of Cusco), cleanliness, the breakfast (included in the room price) and the price. My room was on the higher floor, with a window toward the street, next to a classroom where Peruvian peasants...
