This is not a party hostal. I stayed here for 5 nights. for 20soles per night include with basic breakfast,it is a good deal if you're not fussy about simple breakfast. 2pcs of bread, with selection of tea, coffee or orange juice,i choose coffee because i bought my own orange juice. I stayed in this hostel with my boyfriend and two friends for about two weeks on and off and had a great experience staying here! I stayed in a private room, with plenty of space, with good bathrooms and showers, and a basic breakfast for a very reasonable price. The location is amazing, two blocks from the plaza de armas!...

We stayed at this hostel before our hike to machu picchu and we booked agaon for the night we were arriving back in cusco. When we arrived at 1:00am however we were told that our rooms were occupied. Our reservation was scratched out and they would not accept responsibility for their mistake. Eventually they put all 4 of us into...

A good place to hang out and meet people. A favorite of Asian travelers, especially Koreans and Japanese. Since I read and speak Korean, I naturally gravitated to such a place. The staff, including Reina (The Queen) were all very helpful. Close to the Plaza de Las Armas, but far enough away to be a bit cheaper, and quieter.

I have mixed feelings towards this hostel. The owners are nice people but we had some miscommunication on the rooms and prices between us. It was resolved eventually but I wish they had communicated it clearly before they allocate the rooms. Like the three-bedded dorm room that I stayed, they told me they have discount for that room for Japanese/Korean/Asians...

We went here with the recommendation of fellow travelers. We had a large four bed room with nice thick blankets, private bathroom and a TV(though we never watched it) with breakfast included for 20 soles per person, which we thought was a nice deal. Overall hostel is quite clean, services good, breakfast simply bread, jam and drinks but good enough....

After checking out a few hostals, we stumbled on HOSTAL EL PUMA. Directly we noticed the cleanliness of the rooms. After hearing the good price (including breakfast), we didn't hesitate to take the room. After staying there 10 days we can honestly say that this is a very good hostal with very hot showers that you can enjoy for a...

We stumbled upon this hostel after checking out a few more expensive ones. It's a little hostel up a cobbled alley. We stayed in a double room, with private bathroom for 50 soles per night (about £12), This was an amazing deal! the shower was lovely and hot, the bed comfortable, and it also included a small breakfast of bread,...

We`ve found this `hostal` occasionally after checking out about 6 or 7 of those listed in LP (which turned out to be more expensive than we expected). It's nothing to write home about. but the ratio price-quality is great (we paid about $13 for a private room with a shared bathroom). Our room was basic but clean, towels were provided...

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a hostal near the main square and not wanting to climb up too many steep stairs of Cusco. The location is really great! Also, the price was hard to beat - US$75 for 4 nights for a couple. We had our own bathroom, double bed, and the hostal was very quiet the...

“The rooms, like most rooms in South America, do not have enough windows or natural light. Other than that, it was a good deal.”

“Almost no rooms have sun but not a big matter. Also our room had a problem in which the door locked but would release after a few hard shakes(which was quickly fixed so not a big prob), so always check your room door and if there should be any problems, insist on fixing(they mostly say it´s ok). And remember, closer to the communal area, the noisier.”
