The first thing I would mention about this place is the charm that hits as soon as you walk off the street, it's decorated colourfully & has a pretty little courtyard for all guests to enjoy - I knew I would love it when I spotted a guest relaxing on a hammock in the courtyard! As a first time solo...

The people working there are very friendly and caring. The rooms are nice but can get cold at night , so remember to use the kerosene placed on the window sills. Go for early showers to make sure there is warm water. If you have a chance volunteer in the school supported by the hostel , it's a great experience...

Before Hostal Magico, I had never before stayed in a hostel, let alone been to Peru. I was surprised at how welcoming and friendly the culture of Cusco is, the epitome of which I found to be inside the doors of Hostal Magico. Aside from the homey social environment, there are likewise high standards of living--a communal kitchen, complimentary WiFi,...

What can I say? I stayed in the hostel for almost three months, lved every second of it. Amazing place, both the guests, the staff, the rooms, the courtyard. It's like its own beautiful little world. On top of that, it's part of a social project so the profits help a local school. Could it be better really? Go there.

Hostal Magico is based just outside the old part of the city and the place most tourists want to see within streets of white washed walls. It has large communal spaces for meeting people and is one of the firndliest hostels I have stayed in. Showers are almsot always hot which is something of a bonus and the beds have...

I have been staying at Hostal Magico for over a month now, mostly because I have been volunteering with Aldea Yanapay, the social project connected with the hostel. I absolutely love it. It is welcoming, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms are cozy and feel like a home, not a hostel. The whole places is bright and colorful,...

I stayed at the Hostal Magico for two months while volunteering in Cusco. The beds are incredible, soooo comfortable with a lot of blankets. Also, the rooms are decorated with a lot of love as is the whole hostel. On top of this, it is very close to everything. The staff is very very friendly and the people staying there...

It´s clean, the decor is really cute and the atmosphere is the best! Not only is it a lovely place to stay, all the profits from the hostel are re-invested into the social project...
