We spent 3 nights here to acclimate for our Macchu Picchu hike. The hotel is centralized next to the main plaza and is walking distance to just about anywhere. There is an abundance of restaurants and shopping within walking distance and is very safe. We strolled through the streets after 9pm several nights and felt safe, alot of tourists and...

Great service and hotel. Checking in was a breeze, and we got to switch the complimentary airport pick-up to drop-off since we were coming in via train and leaving via plane. They were very efficient with email correspondence. We booked the only top floor suite with a small balcony; it had an amazing view of Cusco. The location near Plaza...

Stayed here following our 4-day Inca Trail Trek, and wish we'd have chosen it as our base in Cusco while acclimatizing beforehand. This is a lovely boutique hotel, spotlessly clean and apparently recently renovated from top to bottom. The rooms are exactly as pictured on Tierra Viva's website, bathrooms include some nice quality toiletries, and the shower offers plenty of...

Had an amazing stay here. Was there four nights before Lares Trek and one night after. The rooms and bathrooms were great. The staff was extremely helpful. Rooms were cleaned impeccably. Before our trek we left a memory card in the safe (and did not even realize), and upon our return it was taped to our key. Couldn't ask for...

Central location, walking distance to everything. The staff, especially the front desk, were all friendly and professional. Brekfast was on the basic side, but you can still grab a bite. Complimentary airport pickup/dropoff is a nice bonus. They let us use a room in 9am as ours (401, great room!) was not ready to have a shower and get some...

We stayed at Tierra Viva Cuzco Plaza when we visited Peru before and after climbing the trail to Machu Pichu. The rooms are small, beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The hotel was very central to the Plaza and close to markets, restaurants and other shops that you may need. We were also able to store our luggage...

Tierra Viva is a small Peruvian chain, all of which are centrally located, well maintained, and staffed with pleasant, helpful employees. Their design varies from location to location, which typically fits in well with the surrounding environment, and this open is no exception. Tierra Viva Cusco Plaza is a situated within a short walk down a cozy, narrow, stone street...

When you first walk into the lobby, it doesn't look like much. But once you go further in, you can see how beautiful the hotel is.
