I travelled to Cusco in Jan 2014 and I will be returning in April 2015 I had a lovely 3 week stay in the Yanatin. I travelled with my best friend and we shared a twin room. The room has ample size for 2 grown men. The rooms have all the facilities you need include strong wifi connection, hot showers,...

We stayed at the Yanantin in September 2014. It is situated ideally for walking in to Cusco main Plaza. Our room was large and comfortable (but had the squeakiest floorboards imaginable!) The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast, though simple, was tasty and fresh including cooked eggs. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel whilst we were...

My husband and I stayed here for one night after returning to Cusco from Machu Picchu. Since we would be arriving in the late evening and departing early the next morning for a flight, we were only only looking for a basic place. It's a relatively small place and we may have been the only ones there that evening. It's...

My wife and I stayed here three nights prior to our inca trail trek to Macchu Pichu, and then one night after the trek. We in total spent 23 days in South America. This hostel is located on a dead end street about a 10 - 15 minutes from the main square in Cuzco. Our first room was located directly...

Other than the lack of reliable hot water for showers, I would recommend this place for its location, cleanliness, comfort, and general friendliness of the staff. It's a pretty good value, although the free breakfast is pretty mediocre. However, like most places in Cusco, they will "take" the customer for every penny (sol) that they possibly can, at every opportunity....

The Yanatin Guest House is a small, local Peruvian Guest House at a budget price. It helps to speak Spanish as most of the staff have limited knowledge of English but they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and clean and the bathroom is okay with enough hot water for showers. Depending upon your room, you will...

The staff there for one goes above and beyond to make you feel like this is your home, also the service and attention they give you met and exceeded my girlfriend and I expectation. Compared to other accommodations I stayed at in Cusco in the same price range, this wasn't quite up to the same standard. I got the huge room with the huge bed, but it was pretty cold at night with no heating. The room door and key was a bit of a pain, as I had to fight with that every...

My flight into Cuzco was cancelled. This started a snowball effect which left me with a very bad impression of this place. Allow me to explain: I booked 2 nights here prior to my Machu Picchu trip. One of those nights was lost due to my cancellation, however they still charged me for it. I asked one of the receptionists...
